I finally decided to contribute a little and I've prepared a hero tier list, as I haven't seen one written in several months. I'd love to hear your feedback and why Treant Protector should get a tier of his own - cheers! Competitive Hero Tier List - February 2013 Just my opinion, but Beastmaster should be T2, Bane should be T2, Sven should be T3, PL should be T2 I think, not sure about Undying (back and forth with him), Lina should be T3, not 100% sure but maybe BH should be T3, Chen should be T3, Enigma should be T3, Clinkz is iffy on T2, Puck MAYBE should be T2 (tough to say), TA should be t3.
Just IMO though, but nice list. These things are always fun.

Looks like it's a Euro tier list. Wisp isn't that high in China and BM isn't that high in Europe.

I feel like he is a rising star but not necessarily a top pic/ban, what do you think? I think there are several strong (and obvious) reasons that we will keep seeing more of PL.
- 4.2 agility growth is extremely helpful not only for his farming capabilty but how early he can participate in teamfights.
- Great synergy with Keeper of the Light, who is a top ban/pick at the moment.
- Excellent split pushing and multiple location quick farming, right behind AM.
- He can be the trilane carry or the safe lane solo of a team with an offensive trilane.
As more teams learn to dismantle the very early aggressive style that we usually see these days, PL will be more appreciated as he can be extremely strong with just two items (Diffusal/Heart).
*** Thank you for your replies. I'm sure there are many heroes whose relative strength is probably between the tiers but I had to pick some to go up and some to be "relegated". It's not set in stone anyway and it's a productive discussion, imho.
edit: Guilty as charged for Western bias.

well after my alt key went down, my escape key and then number 1 stopped working too :D got a new keyboard, fixed. it would be nice to be able to rebind alt ping tho.
question: is there a way to add or invite someone as a friend whilst ingame (not having to go thru steam)?
also, i play 1-4 games in UK evening time with 1 friend, thats about 7-8pm GMT if anyone wants to join us (skype or no) it might be cool...so we get better pub games i play support/warlock/lion atm and my friend plays carry/tiny/lancer pm me your skype i guess its on a very casual basis, sometimes we dont talk at all since i cant have volume on after like 10pm

Not really no but if you use Shift + Tab In-game you can access steam pretty easily to add the friend. Open your friends, and at the bottom press add friend. I think its pretty simple from there.

I will laugh if LGD.Int and/or IG bring something new to G-League, and the whole tier list gets turned on its head as Western teams rush to copy them.

You should be able to click on their name and add them as friend from inside the client. Chat channel would be the best place to do this unless you have a mutual friend who can invite them.

Hot_Bid's contribution to the BTS Kickstarter video was so true...
"What does Beyond the Summit mean to you?" Hot_Bid: "BTS means a time machine where I can see all the strategies EU teams will be using in 3 weeks"
(Obviously I paraphrased it slightly since I'm quoting from memory).

It's certainly a very western-oriented list, and there seems to be a lack of understanding of why a few heroes are good, but its a decent jump off point for discussion.

ChuaN mentioned on his stream, that iG will be eventually playing Gyo in the near future.

Doesn't necessarily mean we will see the Chinese utilize Gyro in the same fashion as Western teams. Correct me if I'm wrong, but we've seen in the past Chinese teams take heroes and put them in innovative roles/positions.

People in the west already play Gyro as any position though. No Tidehunter for example runs it as a 4/5 support quite often.

We've already seen gyro in the west as a 4 slot support, a hard carry, and a solo mid role. Only way we haven't seen him is as an offlane hero, which I'm kind of doubting China will try.

Why is AM so damn low, when someone good picks him in china it's gg no re.
G-league was a good showcase of this, AM barely lost any game and he got picked quite regularly.
