There's nothing wrong with not liking TES. You're not missing much. Everything good that ever came from Bioware was Black Isle-related. oh nono the last bioware games i like was Kotor2 (kotor1 is about 100miles better). I didnt have time to try ME and Dragon age feels boring to me. oh no you didn't - I will fight to the death over Kotor2 being a much better game On February 10 2013 04:55 Testuser wrote: Show nested quote + On February 10 2013 04:27 BurningSera wrote: For some people who didnt play FF and dota1, PL model is originated from FFX's Kimahri!!! Thanks! read a simple tutorial about the game - namely what last hitting is, what's the goal of the game etc and just play vs people. People that choose "first time player" when they start playing are usually just as new as you are to the game, so no problem there.

Either one, prepare to get crushed if you meet smurfs though, if you are lucky enough to not then most people are probably about as clueless about things. Depending on bot level, they might be harder than majority of new players aside from lowest level(s). If you have the patience, read or watch some basic introduction stuff.

If you have never played something similar, creating a game just to see how it actually works, how to use items, how to use the shop, the flow of the game, etc. is probally very important. After that it depends, some people probally would say it's good to play bot games until you feel comfortable enough to step into an actual game, but if you don't think that is fun and would rather play with people, you will just drop enough in the ladder to find people around your level. You just will have to handle sucking, and people telling you that, sometimes in a very obnoxious way. But you should do whatever is fun for you. A good middle term may be public coop games against bots, but I'm not really sure how that really works in practice.

Thanks! on top of what everyone else said, even if you meet a smurf and lose badly, (or get carried without knowing why) you should be able to at least learn what the heroes do in the match you are in, and hero knowledge is pretty much half of learning the basics of the game. so as long as you stay in the game if its 5v5 (or not safe to leave yet) you'll be learning something. people will flame you, but 90% of people will offer advice if you say you are new and want to learn to play.

I am so weak early game it's unreal it feels like, and any ranged hero easilly harasses me out of a lane. I'm not playing perfect by any means but i feel like if i play any other carry/semi carry i would do much better. It all comes down to me getting too little farm really. I struggle to stay in lane and usually get behind that way or i get ganked quite easilly. An early death feels extremely heavy to take. He's usually pretty good if you are better than the enemy supports are at least in pubs. He's a character you can get easily out of control with in that case. just got to get through the rough first 3 levels. the better you are with him the easier that gets.

You shouldn't rely on counter picking the opposing middle though (mainly because it doesn't exist). If you want to learn a few middles then pick a popular one that has mostly good matchups like QoP.

Low VH bracket is like full of noobs like me. Upper VH is mostly decent ppl (pag 2-10), and page 1 is good people who troll and play in stacks 90% of the time. In term of player numbers it's around 2% (so first 50 pages or so).
