By that point you'd be choosing between Daedalus and Eblade for your six slot though (dffusal, heart, manta, boots, butterfly) and due to the way crit scales you aren't going to beat it as a sixth item even though your illusions don't even get +damage from it.

Eblade is debatable for a 6th item slot. Saying you need daedalus every time is pretty narrow. I've seen people get skadi, daedalus, abyssal blade. In some situations, I think eblade is the right way to go. If the enemy has multiple physical damage carries for example...

If you value something over damage sure, but I don't see that being the case very often. You already have an orb, health, evasion, and defensive active on one of the strongest scaling heroes in the game.
Eblade is also unpractical in that situation considering they'd also need to not have BKB or manta to cancel themselves out of ghost form. If you're trying to go that route you may as well get a sheep instead. Then you can actually kill them while they're disabled.

But thats assuming they can kill you in a 5v5 fights which can rarely happens when you have heart/butterfly

Getting a BKB defeats the purpose of having a fuckton of illusions where they have to see which one is real.

Sheepstick underestimated item. Even on a carry a sheepstick isn't a bad pick-up to deal with an enemy rightclick carry.

If the enemy has BKB get an a-blade.

LEAST PLAYED MODE IS... the least played mode...

How meta would it be if you could pick a game mode as "least played mode" to play and it would choose between your "least played modes" including least played mode

Well, there are multiple reasons to pick up a Sheepstick over Heavens Halberd or Abyssal Blade. First of all it gives u an infinite manapool, which is really useful on heroes like PL who have a rather large mana consumption. Additionally Hex gives u agility and strength, which should not be neglected.
Now we have to differentiate between those two alternatives.
In contrast to HH, Sheep is infinite times better at picking someone off, disabling his attack normally does not CC him.
AB on the other side needs you to be in meleerange and has a larger cooldown and manacost. (It goes through magic immunity though)
Obviously there are cost differences but picking up a Sheepstick can be a good choice in specific situations.

Above post has some good points.
Here's another: It lasts longer than both HH(If target is melee) and AB. It also has a longer cast-range than both. It can't be mantaed or BKB'd out of(You can manta/BKB out of disarm). And it removes evasion. Which will help your entire team, especially since PL normally doesn't get MKB since it doesn't benefit illusions much.
Also PL will normally have bfly which makes the evasion from HH redundant.
Sheep isn't core on PL or anything, but it's definitely a viable situational pick-up lategame where 3.5 seconds of disable means a lot.

Halberd is awful as a 6th item on pl. You already have evasion, so that's just useless, and the stats are very mediocre. Getting it 6th is a waste of an item slot.
