The base damage nerf was a huge nerf to the Quas/Wex spec.. Now its barely ever seen. Trying to last hit/deny mid with Wex spec is like being a Lina mid. Now Invokers are pretty much pigeonholed into going Exort in order to have decent CS / deny at mid. | ||

Even when it was with old EMP Tornado bullshittery it was fun to watch him to a certain extent.also i swear to god Dota fans are have the shortest memory ever. the luna/ld/naix meta hasn't been around THAT long and it isn't THAT bad to watch. when I see people say they miss old Morph vs AM meta I just facepalm. that said I watched sc2 for two years so my standards are kinda low I suppose | ||

Also AM is still a huge pickup in China (top pick / ban in gleague, we'll see how long that goes) Naix is...kind of boring sometimes. I DO think he is overvalued atm though. | ||

By nature teams are just going to emulate what better/more successful teams do, which is what makes things look boring. This is especially true because there are no tournaments in China right now due to the holiday so no one has anything new to follow. The onus is on teams to discover something that works, and they will eventually. It just takes time, and it's somewhat random/a team has to get lucky to find something new. | ||
