I really like KotL because it isn't hard to find and get farm to make supporting easier. | ||

To be fair, the first version of the current screen for hero selection had Dire on top IIRC, and some people found it confusing/strange, so it was changed to the way it is now. It's just what people are used to it, and there isn't anything wrong with that. It doesn't have to have a big meaningful justification. It would make sense either way but there just is no (good) reason to change something that has been working well for ages. | ||

You have to be so careful picking around him, he just crushes push lineups so hard. Also, Kotl+Wisp+tiny/CK/sven is fucking annoying. No matter where you are pushing, you will be met with huge resistance, always. Would have helped if I was a competent magnus player too. | ||

I really like KotL because it isn't hard to find and get farm to make supporting easier. Yeah - that's one of my favorite things about picking KotL - I can depend on him to get an easy mek. If picking him discourages the other team from going offensive trilane and letting my carry free farm, I can have one support get farm from pull, and I can have kotl stack a hard camp and farm with illuminate. I just can guarantee an early mek when I pick kotl and usually comfortable lanes.. | ||

KotL is one of the best heroes to play as support in pubs because you can easily get the farm for both items & wards :3 | ||

They can't use the excuse of getting no farm. You don't even have to steal lane creep farm, you can get it from jungle stacks. | ||

There is something so satisfying when you hear a kotl loading his blast, and preparing your carapace. It's true that otherwise kotl is quite imba in pubs, I played a random phantom lancer with a kotl support in lane that fed me mana, it just felt so bad for the guy laning against me. | ||
