Not surprisingly we won this game qui easily, despite clockwerk going mid vs shadowfiend. They really tried hard to counter me (dark seer, earthshaker and medusa) but I just harassed them out of lane with lance spam+ illuminate and got a quick diffusal blade. After that the game got really really easy. Only thing is that at one point I got caught into the wall and my illusions wiped half of my team :D. | ||

Medusa sucks! Take that Kip. On topic of Phantom Lancer, do you guys really think picking stuff like dark seer, earthshaker, shadow demon and medusa is beneficial against him? First, you are potentially overcommitting multiple picks on countering a single hero. Then these heroes are actually not even that strong of a counter. At least Earthshaker sucks donkey genitalia as a PL counter as you need the original PL to have a load of illusions and be among this cloud for ES to be able to counter him. Second, you are probably picking heroes you aren't comfortable with or that don't mesh well with the rest of your team. Third, isn't the proper counter to PL to gank him with dust and/or 5man early, push towers etc. ? Also I cry bloody tears whenever I see a Lancer getting the right core(Diffu & Manta) only to go full retard and then buy crit instead of much needed hp? I had a game where our Lancer did exactly that, and he was "countered" by someone having a Radiance. | ||

He had enough for shotgun but bought travs instead, TP'ed back to a fight and got a kill, then farmed the 2K gold back in no time. Plus, he was 14-3-1 when his team had 15 kills total (and was down 20-15). Rofl. | ||

I've seen BoT's on morph before, and I think it just comes down to how ridiculously mobile you want to be on the map. I mean, morph doesn't have as much early/early-midgame as before, so i feel like sacrificing some stats / damage for BoT's can be risky...But when you are funnik, i'm not sure it matters. Do you want me to post the summarized results of some builds for morph? | ||
