there is nothing here.

LOL, come see central Canada, spefically Saskatchewan/the prairies which is where I live. Nothing but flat ass farm land for hundreds of miles. Netherlands is a beautiful country, and has great architecture and history.

Canada is awesome. Saskatchewan... less so . Admittedly, it would be nice to have more things happen in Canada though.

lol, yeah. Honestly, Saskatchewan is beautiful, and we have tons of stuff, just not the type of beautiful, or the type of stuff I like. I have vacationed many times in BC and Alberta, and going through the Rockie mountains makes me want to move so bad. I have been to PEI as well, and just like BC it is absolutely beautiful. I don't know if any Dota 2 tournaments happen in Canada though? TI2 in Seattle is close enough I guess. Some sc2 tournaments have made it to Canada, but not all too often.

Unfortunately, Toronto/Montreal are the best bets for any kind of Esports tournaments in canada, and that is much farther away than seattle (for me) . I might try to make plans for TI3 in seattle though (If it isn't in China by then... )

But yeah, having lived in BC and vacationed to AB, then living in AB and vacationing to BC (rofl), the rockies are straight gorgeous to drive through.

We have driven down in southern BC along the Okanagan. That is the most pure piece of land I have ever seen. Especially in the wine country areas.

On topic of Dota 2, I am definitely going to TI3 regardless of where it is held this year. I have some money saved up and I am going no matter what. Got to meet all these awesome people I talk to every day

It seemed like they were at least planning on having TI3 in Seattle, I don't think they're going to do it in China this year. Perhaps next year.

Rumors are that Perfect World will host their own "TI" in china.

I feel bad for you, I live in a landscape often nicknamed "Pampas" because of the similarity of the flatlands and the big farm fields. Luckily I don't have to travel far to get away and I live in Europe anyway so it's not really much of a problem.

How about we have a little competition? Fastest time on 'Classic' wins.

All time record of 8.4 seconds when it was first released, just did 8.6.

edit: Just managed 8.3.

oh god, some areas are scary as hell man. We sometimes take the scenic routes instead of main highways, and you end up in these super high mountains on tiny roads with massive cliffs and no guard rails. Not fun.

I was able to do it in 13.9 Seconds on my first try, I just keep messing up Forge Spirit/Ice Wall all the time. It's just a thing to get used to, though. You also have to take in account the current orbs you currently have activated to use for your next Invoke which I'm also not that good at, or at least not fast enough not make it worthwhile.
The real challenge is to do proper combinations in a real game situation though, I always just seem to freeze up and forget everything in middle of team fights.

EDIT: Feels bad man, maybe I should just start playing SC2 and become a pro instead

nearly went over the edge of one those going from Vernon (Okanagan) to Fruitvale (small town near US border), would have killed us all if we had

that said Kelowna/Vernon and surrounding areas are absolutely amazing with fantastic climate and lifestyle. Then there is Vancouver (best city Canada fight me)

EDIT: dota2 is a fun game i like it
