ES needs farm to pick up arcanes/blink. After that you should just ward bitch and allow your teammates to farm generally.

Should you just go fissure/stats earlygame? In my last few games I ended up getting 1 point in every spell by level 3, but after re-exaiming it, fissure/stats seems like the most stable build. Is it worth skilling enchant totem past level 1? How early should I get it? How important are arcane boots? Can they be replaced with a soul ring? What is the expected timeframe for a blink dagger. In the games I would play, I would try to roam after I got boots and try and participate in every gank/teamfight. This left me with little farm. Should ES farm? What is the most effecient way of farming? And finally, when should I blink in? ES ult feels less powerful then sandkings. I enjoy using fissure, but his ult feels weak in some weird way. (Im sure its not, im just not used to it yet) ES only has 1 build Max fissure/Aftershock then Enchant totem. Items are Arcane boots(for the larger mana pool) into blink dagger into whatever the hell you want, usually shivas for me as i can jump in initiate and do a mass slow.

I've never heard of a case where someone was ever banned from DotA so i assume you just get placed in the LPQ instead for a limited amount of time?

It is also just assumed that being in lpq is basically just as bad as being banned.

everytime i queued up with a friend, at least from my perspective I half jokingly said that US players would literally 5 man train dota (this was before the patch that buffed bounty for kills) while EU players were much more independent. i don't know if it's just me but personally I always love it when games that has an international appeal have differing play styles across region.

Your lane partner can get a fast Urn to offset the health loss (something like 2xGauntlets + recipe, so you only need the mask to complete it). Otherwise, a good bunch of clarities works just fine till you or a lane mate have Arcane Boots. Soul Ring at level 1 doesn't allow you to be aggressive. Being able to get melee hits in on trapped heroes can help. You'd better off with boots with a few Clarities with your extra gold.

Couldn't you go a delayed soulring, and just roam? EDIT: With the stats vs aftershock, you're basicly trading mana & hp for a tiny bit more damage, and some more damage in the midgame. Which might not even matter if you don't rely on enchant totem for its damage.

You never know when you need to ministun somebody. You also need higher ranks of Aftershock for your Echo->Enchant->Fissure combo to link properly. At lower ranks of Aftershock, the stun from Echo isn't long enough to let you finish the Enchant or Fissure animation before they can move (which can interrupt your combo).
