I so want to play Shredder. It sounds like the most ultimate awesome hero ever. You just run around ganking shit with pure damage and getting tankier the more damage you take. Let me repeat: You become harder to kill the more people try to kill you. And his spells have like no cooldown. 8 seconds each, the chain even only 4 seconds. How awesome is that?
For all the people that played shreeder in D1, how is he usually skilled? I would guess Chain first and going 4/1/1/1 by lvl 7. I will probably suck so much when I first play him.

Shredder's voice acting is awesome :D

It seems like he would be an effective suicide laner, being able to soak up exp and escape at moments notice while also being tanky. Solo mid I think?

After being disconnected from the game for more then 5 minutes, all of your gold is equally redivided between your team players, including the (0.8gold/sec) passive bonus gold gain. The passive bonus gold gain is restored once you reconnect to the game, but the rest of the gold is not (including the gold missed from the passive gold gain). (http://www.dota2wiki.com/wiki/Gold)
Is it really just gold because I feel like people are leveling faster too but maybe its just because the items they can now afford?

They are probably just playing something that farms faster.

the issue with rizzrak solo mid is that there's no enough trees it's decent but he's stronger in side lanes

I just wanted to make sure exp isn't boosted for a team with multiple dcs

Wouldn't he work as an off-laner with a point in timber-chain? Granted his base armor is shit, but his escape mechanism is quite safe as long as the opposition can't cut down all the trees.

It's just that xp in teamfigths is shared between less people during teamfight, so each hero levels faster.

Chain first only if you need to escape, otherwise Reactive Armor lets you heal while tanking creeps. 4/1/1/1 by level 7 generally, then max Chain second, with more ranks in Reactive Armor if you feel you need them.
Bloodstone is good on him in games where you can farm it quickly, otherwise defensive/supportive items(Pipe, Shiva's, etc.).

Although not optimally, i have a feeling he could jungle quite easily in pubs.

noob question and apologies if this is answered in some "disgusting noobs here plz" thread, but help settle a debate, my question is: is there a consensus as to the correct camera control method used by high level players/professionals? for example: 1. WASD or 2. edge scrolling/function keys like pros in sc2?

I have never come across anyone that used WASD to control the camera. You need those keys for spells/items. It's entirely edge scrolling and clicking on the minimap. Function keys don't have the same function as in sc2.

Snowdrop set going into the game Hnnngggggg, was really rooting for that one as CM is one of my favorite heroes. The Beastmaster set is also pretty sick, but honestly they're all just fucking amazing. Valve wants my money really, really bad.

rizzrak jungles too slow also if ur mid u wanna max spin first, otherwise hook first 1 point in reactive armor is okay but ur better off just maxing ur other skills most of the time, the armor helps if ur getting harassed a lot but more damage is really important cus his cds are so low and yeah bloodstone owns, so does vg/pipe but he has mana issues
|
I kind of figured he'd jungly slowly, i just like to be able to know how to jungle as many heroes as possible for those games where my team goes for retarded lanes or picks something and claims a lane after others have picked someone for a lane. It's just for pubs where i can't be bothered to deal with teammates and let them have the lane they want

yay, more dota2 invites in my inventory..

a buddy of mine actually uses WASD for camera movement and 123EF for skills or something
can't say he's doing badly with it

Stout+Reactive means you more or less don't take damage from creeps and just hit people when you feel like it.
