But I do agree with Puppey that it's an issue with the recent patches overall, not just Magnus. You have to be carefull when you buff everything by this much, it really changes the game by a lot, it changes the value of everything else. | ||

Still prefer magnus over anti-fun and shotgun 3escape-morphling any day though. This meta is way more fun to spectate than the extreme 5kills 30min farmfest. I feel sorry for Puppey for having so much trouble adapting, and can understand his frustration from being the best nonChinese team to a good nonChinese team. But that's part of being a dota pro, you have to learn to draft in the new metagame. iG have adapted fine. | ||

I feel that it's a no brainier response to some of the tepid farmfest games we've seen during the TI2 era but I think games as of late have become too "snowbally" where one team that doesn't throw the game literally happens to have an insurmountable advantage by the mid game fights. Yes this new patch encourages teams to go out of their way to kill heroes because of the significant amount of income you get from kills outweighs farming but this also leads to shorter games in average (something Ice has wanted for a very long time now). I just honestly believe that the chances of succeeding an epic comeback due to the gold differential can become so large, so early have become very slim in contrast to before. | ||
