You guys should try it some time, especially if you care about commends
this isn't just about Dota 2 - being positive overall in life is important, imo
but yeah that definitely makes Dota 2 funner to play

If people start calling me a noob and telling me to uninstall, I tell them they must be a pleasant person in real life and very handsome to boot.
They are exactly opposite of how I am in real life in terms of attitude and other things. At all the lans I preferred hanging out with mostly other teams than my own(mouz/col/quantic/etc). I didn't share much outside of DotA with any of them. I went into that team expecting a lot to live up to but there was a huge lack of dedication or motivation. We barely practiced and no one really cared to watch replays or analyze stuff except for Fear and I. Our entire practice for Ti2 was procrastinated for our bootcamp in Denmark but Maelk had a lot of health issues(which were serious) and we didn't practice for more than 2 weeks. Not blaming him since it was entirely not his fault but getting up every morning to see all the teams looking for scrims and getting ready for ti2 while we sat on our asses all day playing pubs or watching youtube videos was downright the most depressing shit. It got even worse when we used Pusher-street to ring in clan wars and literally lost some 6 games in a row to coL and 10 games in a row to Na'vi in scrims. This was literally 2 days before leaving for seattle from denmark btw. It felt like i took an entire year break from my life for it to come to this. Each day not knowing whether we were going to play with him or not at the actual event. I think if Maelk wasn't healthy enough to go, we probably would not have played and mouz or w/e team would have played over us. I realized then that if i would do it again and if i was going to actually take a semester off of school to play dota, i would want it to be with people who are just as dedicated as me. But it was at my fault for how i acted sometimes in games and after. This game does make u emotional at times and i let it get to me especially with all those depressing events like Maelk's health and not being able to practice at all. I don't have any quarrel with any of them. It looks just like Demon and I do but we usually talked that way. Just that now we aren't really close anymore. We've always had that kind of friendship where we flamebait each other. It's not like i hold anything against him. When he streams, he has to act in a certain way to stand out just like every other popular streamer. If anything, it's my fault for responding if i care for what he says. He chooses a different route, let it be not as nice but still entertaining for his fans. I still respect Fear and Maelk a lot as a players and people. If anything, I want fear to do well because he has sacrificed more in his life for this game than anyone else i can think of and he has a huge amount of dedication and emotional strength to do it. Even Demon has spent a lot for this game and he deserves some of the success. If he finds the same dedication he had in DotA 1, i wouldn't doubt how well he would do in the future. Its nice to see that he did find some of that in his recent performances. sometimes you just gotta realize how some people are.
Bulba on why he left EG. Finally sheds a lot of light on the situation.
I saw that in a Chinese VOD 2 months back. Looks like it's time to invest in some obs ward to make the magnus on the opposite side stay at level 2
Strange how he says this works for all stacks of ancients.. I've only gotten it to work consistently with at least a few golems. When I got 4 stacks of ground dragons in a row, it didn't work at all. edit: oh and quite often the pull just fails because the ancients block the tree spawns anyway (if there's 2+ spawns of air or ground dragons they fuck everything up) Maybe I'm doing something wrong.. 4:12 feels early also
I really dislike the current meta of getting Radiance on PL. I get that it's an incredible farming tool but it's a really late item on a hero that is already useless in team fights until he gets his two/first big items, whereas the dispelling blade (forgot the name :D) let's you gank motherfuckers and jumpstarts your carrying.
Then again I'm just a low-level MMR player enjoying casual Dota :/ maybe I just dislike farming for the sake of farming
I know - push all the lanes while jungling, get $$$, dominate as a third team made entirely of phantom lancers
but as Dead9 said, Diffusal Blade is funner
I just don't like farming for the sake of farming - even though I play a really good AM, it's boring as fuck to just farmfarmfarm-getBF-farmfarmfarm-mantaheartvlad-F1A into their fountain
try to search for ZSMJ's PL games. Radi became the trademark item for pl since then. (not saying that it is the best build for pl in current metagame).
Wonder will we see drow+pl with radi in pro games, all lanes perma pushed and your team can farm all day!

Radiance on PL was the standard long before ZSMJ's game tbh
Radiance pl is awful, it's a relic of a bygone era on a hero that's completely different than it is nowadays. It's only advantage is a slight increase in farming speed that doesn't even kick in until you finish and item after radiance, something like drums diffusal is far better fr both midgame power and absolute late game scaling, since rad becomes dead weight at that point

I wouldn't call it safer, but you have more control over the game.
Radi PL generally doesn't fit the pace of the game. Though there might be some rare pub teamcomp where it's appropriate, by and large Diffusal is going to be much smoother.
That said, it's not as clear cut as "I don't like Radiance and never buy it". It has its appropriateness for certain games, and as a player you should be looking to recognize when which item choice is appropriate.

I am not surprised xD I used to make bfury on him until i saw zsmj rofl.
Radiance pl can be really fun but a 5000k~ item thats only benefit is faster farming can only be useful in games where your team can 4v5 for 25-30 minutes. Since the damage boost doesnt apply to illusions its kind of weak.
Radiance on PL ismore about how effectiev it is at pushing and farming and how crazy good harrass it is, a single spirit lance gets an extra 400 damage on it.
