It's just a fun way to kill Roshan, but you still don't get Strength nearly fast enough for it to be record-breaking in and of itself. The fact that he's still just fountain camping for kills at 28 minutes (and goes on to bug the game) makes it pretty clear that it's not even their goal to break the record. | ||

If you check the replay of the game, it says game duration was 7 hours, 22 minutes, and 2 seconds. That's not 18 seconds. They got it to record 18 seconds by bugging out the game, but I'm willing to guess they didn't actually break the record. | ||

Since rosh is bugged, it didnt end yet. | ||

First, they tie in the second phase, meaning the third phase, that counts, never starts. Then they put the one Rosh is after on a cliff, so that nothing can disturb them. Commence hours of strength farming, until they finally put another candy into the basket and kill Roshan. | ||
