It would also ignore the fact that EG players have won several tournaments in the last 12 months. Or the fact that EG has very strong, very consistent, sponsorship because they run their business like an actual business, not a college frat party.
It's called cognitive bias. People dislike EG, so they just lump them in with whatever "bad" group they want.

Even tho we managed to rax once then rax again later. Guess what, even our mega lanes couldn't push vs Drow aura xD In fact they were pushed most of the time (which was pretty good in this case cause they couldn't really cross the river so they couldn't farm much). This is pretty sick :O Who was on Drow's team? That's Drow's real strength now, paring her with the right heroes. Alone, she's strong but not over the top strong. With the right heroes on your team (think Sniper or Enigma), her global aura becomes crazy. Silencer Furion Drow BeastMaster Windrunner https://dotabuff.com/matches/55105610 Our lanes were pushed non stop, even when we raxed 2 lanes (they never raxed us). And that without any agility item on drow except manta :o And that's with my non stop ulti to defend our lanes too. Sick.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that Nature's Prophet + Aghanims had more to do with the lanes being pushed than Drow aura...

That's very possible xD Dunno why I didn't think about that directly :o

I played a game where I was Rhasta and laned with a Luna while having a Drow on my team
+18 auto attack damage at level 1 or so, was pretty fun.

On that team, yeah. You really don't have anyone but Drow and your creeps directly benefiting from her aura.
I would say Furion is probably a big reason you were so pushed. Sounds like that Furion had a clue.
|
^yeah he's probably the reason we were that pushed, but still during the creeps vs creep battles our waves evaporated really quickly. Dunno why I didn't factored it at first, but the aura is still sick. Funny thing is during the game I was saying how "drow aura keep pushing non stop" and I didn't even think of the furion even tho I was squishy and each ulti hurt me a lot :D

Oh, it's very much still a sick aura, no doubt that.

I just gave an example and we all know IdrA, iNcontroL and Machine don't win shit. Of course EG has people like Stephano and ThorZaIN who actually show some interest and win something... besides that tell me what "several tournaments" EG won in the last 12 months!
We are not talking about sponsors, or even business here. We are talking about winning events. You talk about "college frat party", I guess you didn't watch last week Inside of the Game because both IdrA and iNcontroL looked like 12 years old kids! I don't even dislike EG and I'm very happy to see Maelk and Fear in such a big name as EG, but that doesn't mean that everyone has to worship famous people in the scene only because they live in a mansion and that's what that guy from LoL wanted to say...
Also, 6.76c parity is on DotA2 guys.

Way to ignore PumA, who is probably EG's best player.
So because IdrA and inControl were acting goofy on a stream, this means they don't run their business professionalyl? What? I don't even...
Alex can say whatever he wants, but if he put EG SC2's name in his mouth over his little millionaire rant, it's because he's a fool. EG is popular for three reasons: Results, good content, American. Not because they live in a nice house in Arizona (which isn't even a millionaires house, Arizona has stupid cheap land prices...I could afford that house in AZ).

Eh, it's more eSports drama
I agree though, probably not the best place for this conversation.

Really doubt you could afford that house unless you're a well accomplished professional in a highly paid field. We already looked up houses in that same area in a previous thread. It's not a Romney level estate but even after the huge market crash the houses in that area are 450-700k.

No more talk about EG or the Arizona housing market pleeeeeeeeease. It's not even an entertaining offtopic dicussion.
