Ingame it usually doesn't matter because there are only 10 heroes so there is rarely any overlap. When discussing in a general thread, making a clear distinction helps everyone.

A friend played pudge and when he hooked -> ultied players that were way out of position, Centaur would ult and pudge would get stunned in his own ult. And the player who got hooked would run away with haste. This is like Naga's ult level initation / escape, but it's global and has the low CD from lvl 6...

I like to go undy to fck with him, so far 2:2 T_T Of course thats statistically significant Oo but I'm actually more mad about drow ranger, that aura is too fucking op especially if you get to the lategame. Ranged creeps do over double the damage, its no fun having you lanes pushed all the time -.-

Whenever I try to start dota 2 since the last patch, the game starts, the valve intro begins and then a window appears "Connecting to dota 2 network...", but nothing happens from this point Yesterday I got the message as well, later that day it worked fine without changing anything. But the problem is back up What I already tried:-Restarting steam, dota, my computer, my internet connection -Running ccleaner -I did relog on steam as well, the connection to steam is fine Still getting the message. I'd appreciate any help on this topic ![]()

Considering I was replying to a post where they had a link to the stats of Centaur Warrunner I didn't really see the need to specify "by CW I don't mean Rattletrap the Clockwerk Goblin in dota 1 who is now Rattletrap, the Clockwerk in dota 2". In addition anyone who thinks a post referring to a CW with a 67+% pubwinrate is referring to Clockwerk... well. I also have been told before that CG is the preferred nomenclature for clock, not CW and that calling Clock CW was an unpardonable sin the one and ONLY time I ever called a clock CW in-game. That's because one person was so offended that they griefed the rest of the game (from the 35 second mark on for the next 20 minutes). But then, that's pubs for you. The fact that in dota 2 Clockwerk isn't Clockwerk Goblin didn't seem to matter anyone. Maybe I should have been calling him Bradwarden. Then no one would have been confused. Just like if I was talking about Tequoia. Everyone knows who Tequoia is right? And Ethreian? Ulfsaar? (ok that one is easy). How about Karroch? Zharvokko? Now, these are no Mangixs. If I mean CW, sorry, CG, I'll just say Ratteltrap. Wait, I think I just misspelled some of these names. I just played a game where someone asked to trade their randomed SF for "KS".

AA&Engima ults, QOP ganker/great AOE...centaur initiator/tank and drow carry. That centaur ultimate really really needs a rework. Its insane

CW means clockwerk. Cent means Centaur Warchief. I've played Dota for 7 years and you are the first person I've seen say CW for cent.

Using CW for just "Clockwerk" would be equivalent to using WC for just "Warchief".

Wat How is he not as scary as dota 1? He's basically the same hero, with the ult simply moved to his passive str gain, with a new broken ult on top.
