You need to place them in strategic locations and perhaps encorporate force staff, also things with stun traps and TPs and so on. My intention wasn't to suggest laying them in random locations and praying.

I'm sure many will play him like that. It takes some knowledge of heroes to figure out placements. For example, ascertaining which lanes will be pushed the hardest, the melee lanes, etc. will be vital. For example, placing them at the tower base when the enemy has plenty of melee heroes will be grand. Probably will only work the first time though, so will always have to adapt. just thinking of all the fun that can be had; having ds vacuum them all and then suicide would do quite a bit of damage. Especially if there is already some other form of aoe. Most entertaining moment would be seeing them all vacuumed, enigma uses black hole and watching as techies slowly runs to the group... probably would result in a "oh shit..." moment haha.

I had Blink, BKB, Abyssal, Heart, Vlad, Phase. Their team line up was Riki, Batrider, Veno, Treant, Windrunner. Since Batrider/Treant ults go through BKB I was almost always useless during team fights because they would stagger the lasso and root together. So I felt like the only thing I could do to stay alive was just wait it out, hence I felt like getting 2-3 hearts was a good idea. I never actually did it, but the thought was considered, I asked my allies and they said to just get abyssal. Just wondering if stacking hearts would be a decent build since it also synergizes well with my ult (given in this situation ofc). Are there other instances of stacking hearts on Ursa where its an acceptable build? Just curious.

Just in case you didn't know, you can break treant ult if you activate BKB. Stacking hearts isn't that great. The regen doesn't stack, and if you aren't tanky enough after one heart you probably either need something to kill them before they kill you, or to focus on armor/MR. Butterfly gives you evasion, and manta gives you a debuff dispeller and movement speed, both good options for more survivability on an agi. Abyssal was probably the right choice. I would have gone MKB afterwards in that situation. Riki smoke and WR windrun are both evasion, so it helps stop that, as well as the chance riki gets butterfly. Then again, if you are playing in a MMR where you can win with ursa, you probably don't need to make the optimal item choice, so multiple hearts could work.

I think this happened maybe once in game without me knowing. But it never registered amidst all the chaos. On September 14 2012 14:42 LAN-f34r wrote: First of all, you have 6 too few BFs. Dude, this is why Im still a newb. How did I not think of mkb... -_-

It shouldn't even be a question of "should I stack Hearts at 6 items" because oftentimes the answer is that the game should have ended 10-15 minutes ago.

So the game dragged on longer than it should have. And I had to deal with 3 forcestaffs and 1 ghost scepter. None of the kills were easy for me T_T Edit: I didnt even check Riki's items. If I saw the butterfly I woulda gone straight MKB.

Guinsoo is really nice to buy after Blink. It smooths out your mana usage, and makes your ability to gank much more powerful.

Also, looks like the treant was going for heavens halberd. Another hero which MKB helps bring down.
