dear god that sounds broken as hell D:
One of my favorite moments as spec is when I dispersed 2 mortred 1k crits in a row, killing everyone on their team instantly.
My all time favorite moment is when my brother playing OD astralled me as lion ulted me. I still watch that replay and wonder how it worked, but I was astralled before the particle hit my model, so I lived, but lion's instant cast ult was used. One in a million.
Spells that are "instant cast" still have short travel times.
Back when Puck's Phase Shift was autocast-able, autocast Phase Shift could be used to dodge those sorts of things.
Am I the only one who uses the "control all other units" key instead of any control groups? The only time I've seen control groups to be useful is when controlling leavers but other than that, 1 for hero, 2 for courier, and 3 for all other units fills all my needs.
More like Spectre's Dispersion for whatever fucking reason was coded with the base spell storm bolt so your dispersion breaks up channeling...in an AoE...working as intended.

Nightstalker was Voidstalker and didn´t need night for full effect. Another Hero that was basically a siegetank, complete with immobile siegemode. Dozens of heroes with ensnare, long stun and/or avatar(Magic immunity) as skills. A hero that had 3 summon skills, so he could solo towers with ~10 summons around lvl 6. Original Invoker didnt have 10 spells. He had 27. The order in which you summoned Wex, Quas and Exort changed the skill you get too. The compilation was very funny. I only once tried a pre 6.xx map, I think it was 5.83 or so, the last map before Icefrog took over. It had a very basic looking terrain, Chen had none of his skills he has now. Instead he had some generic crap and an orb that adds x% of his max hp in damage. The recipes had no icons. I´m pretty sure the items were very different too. I played that map once or twice, but it felt unrefined to me.
I still remember my first map was somewhere around 6.30 or so. Mirana and Alchemist were my first new heroes. "Professional games" were played with teampick. TEAMPICK. Sentinel could only pick Sentinel heroes and Scourge could only pick Scourge heroes. Sentinel was heavily favored because Beastmaster, Chen and Jakiro were much stronger back then(Also there were 2 other heroes that amde the standard Sentinel lineup which I don´t remember). Chen was nerfed via nerf of jungle creeps. Jakiros double breath was like 110 mana on lvl 4, you could spam it forever. Beastmaster Ult wasn´t nerfed until much later. Pre nerf the cooldown was 60s on all levels, manacost 150 all levels and range was somewhere around 1000 on all levels. 1000 range was awesome.
So much nostalgia.
I thought scourge was OP because they had like Sand King Tide Hunter Lich, Pugna doing 4 protect 1 for Boneclinkz who would just farm up an Aegis (that you build from base and gives you 3 reincarnations) and Divine Rapier and BKB and you could backdoor or BKB whoever
Lich Pugna was hell to lane against before, I remember seing Fear as bone clinkz doing that at around 6.27 or something
Wow I had forgotten about team pick, playing scourge or sentinel.
I think the best memory I have is the whole death ward riki. I'm not sure why but of all the old garbage can shit from years ago, that ability still resonates.
Tobi is the average Dota player- so fucking bad, but still whining and blaming someone on his team for his failure... Is there anyone who still likes this ginger cancer?

Tobi is the essence of Dota, his energy, his slight awkwardness, extreme passion for the game, rage with tones of racism and creepy fetishism.

Are you judging this based on the games when he was on Sing2x stream? Then why not mention everyone else on that stream?

He is Dota in human form
Except that he cares far more about himself and furthering his place in the dota community than dota itself.

Yeah I do the same, I love it.
F1 for my hero, F2 for all other units. Ctrl to give commands to all units under my command.

Do you actually care about a bunch of random people on the internet rather than yourself?

Tobi is quite horrible if you ever played with him or seen him play. He's most likely worse than your average player or at best on par.

You can easily find clips of tobi's furion at his best (worst) on youtube.
I mean part of it is that he often stacks with high level players that are way better than him.
Everyone will look terrible playing in a game where they're way worse than everyone else. The same player will look way better to an observer if he's playing in a game where he's way better than everyone else, even if he's not actually playing any better.
