I do fine with just boxing and tabbing through stuff

Boxing feels really awkward in Dota2, so I dont like to do it. They captured the feel of war3 boxing perfectly

Chen, enchantress, morphling, lycan, LD, visage, invoker and necrobooks. And prolly heroes i forgot. Control groups are too useful to not use imo.
For chen and enchantress having control groups is needed for obvious reasons, for morph it's to be able to keep tabs on your replicate all the time, lycan to body body while keeping control of your hero, LD to control hero and bear at the same time + body block as well, visage is obvious as to why control groups are needed.

Personally, I use the mouse forward and back buttons, and then 1-4 for items. I use the use F keys for control groups (though I rarely use them). I have my "hero button" on space and "select other units" on Tilde, which is usually enough. For heroes like Lycan and Enigma, I also bind hero & minions on F1. That gives me enough control and any more would be hard for me to handle. For example when microing wolfs during jungling, I just press tilde and click the portrait of the wolf being damaged.

I feel like using alt q alt w etc...works out better than 12345 anyway, obviously have no scientific proof that it's better though.

It's all personal preference. I would never go for pressing 2 keys simultaneously over a single one, even if it's quite a stretch

Also if sniper pushes mid he dies. Every single time. you've never even played sniper in dota2. how would you know what happens every single time? I'm assuming it's same as in dota1 o.o

Singsing playing some crappy tournament for no prize with tobi and dendi and some others. Might be amusing.

If you're mid you want that 1 point Decrepify almost always because you're going to gank, but max Blast + max Ward dictates the point at which your pushing power is strongest. If you're in an uneven sidelane (2v1 or 3v1) where the solo against you isn't going to put themselves in a situation where you can kill them, 4-0-4-0 makes that timing 1 level earlier, which can translate into getting a tower that you wouldn't otherwise get at that point. This is especially noteworthy given how much slower you level in a sidelane than you do as a solo.

sing just killed morph 1v1 as wr o.0

Morph also has manaboots.
On that note, so does sing. Funny how he gets phase boots on every hero whether it's good or not and then doesn't get phase on wr. Not that it's weird on wr, just weird on sing.
