except killing power isn't a linear scale. The difference between able to drop a pack in one hit/bar of hatred/cooldown combo or whatever and NOT killing them in one round and having to kite around waiting to refresh is much more than a 30% jump in efficiency. Adding the power ring over the EXP ring might not give you a 30% jump to character sheet DPS, but it just might make those packs die in one round instead of surviving with ~10% HP.

a ring that drops in normal difficulty worth 1b?...imagine the botting possibilities.
the ring does seem to keep value well though. eventually people will get gear good enough such that they are willing to sacrifice some dps for more experience in the ring slot.
