Leah keeps looking better and better with these cinematic videos O_O lol. But really, the cinematic was really cool and I like this one more than the Azmodan vision. I love the art story telling in this one with the angels vs demons fight and how the angels flew down from the high heavens. We also got a glimpse of the named angels too, which will make an appearance in the game.

D3 opening looks too cartony and has no atmosphere. But that's what you get from a game that has giant leaping green frogs as a skill.
I really want this game to be good, but I'm starting to hate it oh so much
LOL, get out.
Have you even played the game? I've heard lots of people playing the beta who've said all the people whining about this "cartoony" feel are just fooling themselves and the game is full of blood and gore everywhere.

I always laugh reading Blizzard interviews and they talk about ground breaking features like blacksmiths and stuff like that. Blizzard is a decade behind game design ideas but at least they make polished games. Hopefully Diablo 3 will be great, although I see myself playing through with one of each character and never touching it again.
Blizzard doesnt make innovative revolutionary games, Blizzard makes extremely polished, well-thought out, very long-lasting games, the best in their genre.
Blizzard made innovative games before. But they do not wish to cancel any more games than Ghost and Warcraft Adventures. Because other companies money is involved, originality has to suffer for pushing out a safe polished product that sales well. Unfortunately.
No they didn't. All their games have ideas crossed from other developers. They've invented practically nothing new in all their history. Maybe original Diablo was a breakthrough.
Warcraft/Starcraft are based upon the Dune, and later C&C concept of RTS, set in lore and environments extremely reminiscent and clearly inspired on Warhammer products. While WoW was derived almost completely from an improved Everquest concept. Their greatest characteristic as a developer is BY FAR polishness, close customer relationship and deepness in content. Creativity in aspects different from story and lore isn't their strong point at all.
Even Ghost and WC adventures introduced nothing new to the gaming scene. Their biggest development in the RTS department is balancing 3 completely different factions, but that is really nothing "new", but a product of dedication and polish more than anything related to creativity.

i'm in the beta and it looks almost exactly like DotA2 IMO
While the trailer and all of the newer CG art from Blizzard are second to none, since SC2 I wonder what the hell happened to their dialogue writers. Characters and dialogue used to be deep, unique and enthralling. Lots of characters had extremely memorable speeches.
Awaken my child, and embrace the glory that is your birthright. Know that I am the Overmind; the eternal will of the Swarm, and that you have been created to serve me. Behold that I shall set you amongst the greatest of my Cerebrates, that you might benefit from their wisdom and experience. Yet your purpose is unique. While they carry forth my will to the innumerable Broods, you have but one charge entrusted to your care. For I have found a creature that may yet become the greatest of my agents. Even now it resides within a protective Chrysalis, awaiting its rebirth into the Swarm. You must watch over the Chrysalis, and ensure that no harm comes to the creature within it. Go now and keep safe my prize.
Let's kick this revolution into overdrive.
I can see what you see not. Vision milky then eyes rot. When you turn they will be gone, Whispering their hidden song. Then you see what cannot be, Shadows move where light should be. Out of darkness, out of mind, Cast down into the Halls of the Blind.
There is speculation that it's her. There are tons of spoilers out there and I don't know if that's one of them because I'm trying not to spoil the entire plot before I play it.
As opposed to a lot of others, I actually really like the plot in games that I play and it's as important as the actual gameplay for me, even in Diablo games. Diablo 2 has a pretty badass plot, even if it was pretty generic.

Haha, it's like Blizzard is just ripping off Age of Wonders 2. Man, these guys are hopeless. I don't approve of George R.R. Martin but Blizzard really needs a guy like him to go in there and fuck up all their shitty plans.
I've done like a 100 baalruns and i never was able to make it look that colorful and bright. Pretty impressive.
Anyway, I don't mind bright colors and stuff, as long as they keep the overall atmosphere gritty and sinister.
There are some good River of Flame shots as well that are very bright. All of act 2 was bright. blah blah blah.
I've played the whole game, i know what it looks like. It doesn't look cartoony and it doesn't make me facepalm like the demonhunter trailer.
I haven't even played the beta though, so I hope I'm wrong. It could be an amazing game, and I'm going to try it when it comes out. Just not looking very promising so far

I really, really do not know where this whole "OHHHH D2 was so dark and gothic and gory and creepy and scary!!" comes from. I played the game for years and NEVER got this feeling. Just dark. Sometimes.
People are overblowing this issue SO MUCH it's crazy. It's almost as ridiculous as the WoW Pandaren issue. Release pandas ---> "WAAAAAAAH!!! PANDAS ARE SO CHILDISH AND STUPID"... WTF? What patch in WoW are you playing I don't know about?
Disappointing trailer. Doesn't make me excited at all. Cinematics might look better, graphically with renders and all that shit. But stylistically and content-wise they were a lot better before.
