Anyone successfully installed the full client yet?
Did you download your client before this weekend? In that case it is corrupt and you should download the new installer, choose the SAME destination, and it will fix it.

To be honest I doubt it. There are several buttons necessary (6 for skills, potions, opening inventory and other panels) that I don't think will fit on a gamepad without major hassle in how you play.

That's only for the enUK and german clients I believe.

Question: should i resist buying the game until next week when my last final is done, or buy it tonight and fail all my classes?

Resist! There is no chance you will put it down before the end of the week and you won't be able to focus on studying. The only option will be to destroy your computer to escape but then you will remember you activated the game on BNet and as such you can just install it on another computer!
But yeah seriously, it's addicting. I don't recommend getting it when you have other things going on that are important.

You're in the process of downloading the set-up files to install the game still.

In same situation, please someone give us a satisfactory answer. OH WAIT THERE ISN'T ONE. Cue two weeks of stressful revision/internal civil war in my brain.

In that case, is there anyone who might be able to give me their guest pass for the Starter Edition so I can try it out? I'd be very appreciative. :D

This is why my install failed so if yours fails it might be the same problem :

I'm making a backup right now and trying to just delete the 0kb one and rename the other... hope that works. I'll let you guys know if that's a fix or not.

I'm gonna try and play casual and take the bet :D I think I'm disciplined enough to study properly.
And having played the beta kinda helps. The urge to play is a little bit less.

I didnt have beta access so Im wondering some stuff. I'm rolling a monk, and was wondering this stuff. Could wait another day, but meh, I hate waiting;D. - Are Mantra's worth it for solo play? 12% increased damage or 15% dodge is nice, but is it worth it over more utility? At first thought I'd say no way but monks seem pretty spirit starved all the time. A lot of skills have enormous cost (75) while hits regenerate 6 spirit orso. Probably not worth it to pick a 5th spirit costing ability as you won't have enough spirit anyway? - Does the spirit generation scale with wep dmg? I sure hope so... Definitely want to use staves as theyre awesome, but why would I want to use a slow staff regenerating as much spirit for hit as 2 fast weps?
