I love how confident NesTea is against InCa. And he should be. I'll predict this at 4-0

(Nestea) – I cannot agree one bit about how protoss are weak. Protoss are extremely strong. It’s just because Inca is a bad player. He just doesn’t realize it.

loooool

This is a good interview. Yes, yes it is.

that`s what I call a pre-fight interview. reminds me of the press conferences boxers give before the step in the ring. mindgames yo, mindgames.

It's funny how korean culture usually seems to be all about respect, but when it comes to playing a finals in game/sports it tends to always come to "hwaitin!" spirit becoming the main issue - first do the egoing how you'll win easy and show off confidence, and only after that respect

I really hope nestea 4-0s inca. For the swarm... MC vs july was disappointing to say the least...

(Nestea) – I cannot agree one bit about how protoss are weak. Protoss are extremely strong. It’s just because Inca is a bad player. He just doesn’t realize it. If he had played just one game with zerg he would recognize that right away. When you face protosses, if you make a mistake in recognizing their build, you can lose in one blow. And they got an arsenal of strategies to do that with. I hope they do more to reduce the number (as they done with warp gate tech). A lot of times, zergs have to think about so many things that they crumble under pressure. Sometimes, even when I play my best, zerg just loses. It is unfair. I don’t even know why bunkers can salvage in the first place. Maybe they should just let spine crawlers and cannons be salvageable too. I had a lot to say, but I will stop here. (**I think Nestea is just joking for the most part)

So In one quote he says playing against Protoss is simple, and another where he says they're extremely strong and hard to read. I'm so confused!
i was driving down the road this november eve and spotted a hitchhiker walking down the street. i pulled over and saw that it was only a tree. i uprooted it and put it in my trunk. do trees like marshmallow peeps? cause that's all i have and will have.

What the hell is going on with this trash-talk? In every interview it's the same. I thought the korean/japanese were so reserved people.

- After Nestea’s match (*the epic end to the semis), the focus on you has decreased, what do you think?
(Inca) – I don’t think about that too much. But the race I wanted to avoid the most was zerg. In the beginning of the season, the two players I wanted to avoid the most were Zenio and Nestea. I may be a bit on the losing end in terms of the matchup, but I believe there will be good games overall in this match, so I am looking forward to it.

- If you were to mention anything specific about the balance in this patch?
(Inca) – I didn’t really want to practice on the new patch, because I feel like protoss has gotten the short end of the stick.

this solidifies who I think will win.

Inca isn't confident against zerg. Inca refuses to play on a patch that slightly weakens protoss.
I forsee the "inca rule" during finals.

I think this article is poorly translated. Or maybe some of the humor was left out.

First NesTea says that Protoss is easy to play against and he hasn't lost to them, then goes on saying they are hard to read and not weak? I guess in some sense I can see that all being true, but the tone changes quite drastically between the two.

EDIT:

Oh ok, it is just rapport between him and IncA, where Inca thinks why the race isn't that strong but NesTea disagrees. I think both of them over-exaggerated their points in that paragraph -___-

EDIT2:

NVM, guess both of them were joking/exaggerating a lot in that part. I guess I need to read the entire paragraph before posting,

i.e what the translator said (**I think Nestea is just joking for the most part).

Although salvageable cannons would be nice x)

No, he's saying that "playing protoss" is simple, not playing against protoss.

Hilarious interview :-p Really cheering for Nestea. If Inca does manage an upset, I hope he at least shows some good games. I don't blame anyone for cheesing, but that's not how I want to see a great guy like Nestea lose.

No he is saying playing against Protoss is simple, otherwise the paragraph doesn't run on fluently. It is the same when he says "to play mind games". When he means playing, he outright says it, i.e "Playing zerg is difficult"

Nestea, you will be the first zerg in 2 finals.
(Nestea) – I am a bit worried. I am not sure if Inca can matchup to my level of play… I think he may be an opponent too easy for the finals. I guess I can just think my finals already happened against sC.

Bahhahhahahaha

epic trash talking:

since Inca is such a weak player, it probably won’t matter.

Though i think that may have something to do with the translation
