Thanks in advance to whoever is kind enough to answer! <3 In Korea, they consider you to be a year old before you even come out of your mother's womb, so when you have your first birthday, you're really having your birthday celebrating your 2nd year of age there. Just add 1 year or 2 years if their birthday hasn't hit yet to their age, and you've got a Korean age. Just a cultural difference as from in the West, you're 0 years old before you're born.
