Especially those locations. Anaheim is an hour out of LA, Providence is an hour out of Boston, pretty much unless you live within driving distance or want to rent a car for 3 days, the travel costs are pretty stupid. MLG's are something nice to go to yes, but in the end, when it comes to traveling around within the US, its pretty f'ing bad unless you're willing to shell out half a grand per event minimum.
There is an airport 20 minutes from Providence (T.F. Green Airport). It's not so bad... Look into things before you get all upset about it. There are also shuttles, trains, and taxi's that will get you from the airport to the venue/hotel in Providence, and plenty of taxi's to get you around Providence and wherever you need to be. Also, the venue is most likely right in the middle of downtown, which is also pretty much on the same block as two big hotels which MLG attendees will probably be staying at. As for the other venues I can't say, but since I live a few minutes outside of Providence I know that for the national championship it shouldn't be too much of a hassle traveling there, assuming that paying for airfare is not a problem. Hope this helps a little bit, I know most people aren't too familiar with Rhode Island.

Which one is it for you?
For me it will be the Orlando one. I will be at UCF! ^^

I'm suprised they arent returning to DC after the success of the event there. Rhode Island? I hope there are big crowds at all the events... and chairs for them to sit on. =)
