Sundance didn't say that (not in reference to the 2011 season at least) and they've been on record saying they'd love to get back to the west coast if they could make it work somehow (i.e., attendance-wise). With 3 flagship titles instead of 1, it's possible they figured it'd be a good opportunity to try again.
Also, NASL almost certainly wasn't yet in the picture when MLG booked their venues for the 2011 season -- that happens way, way far in advance for the kind of venues MLG uses these days (like 10-12 months minimum for something like the Anaheim convention center). And Anaheim is already familiar territory for MLG, having been there as recently as the 2009 season.
