I traveled by myself for quite a while. I arrived in India by myself at first but I was with other travelers for the first part of my trip. Then I separated from them and went to Nepal solo for 2 weeks. At one point, I found myself lost while climbing the mountain. When I was going up the mountain it was fine but then as I was going back down I lost the trail and ended up losing my way in the middle of the mountain. I felt like everything was going dark during this time. The whole place was really slippery because it started raining and there were a ton of leeches. I tried to call SOS to the Korean consulate using my emergency handphone but without success. I thought to myself “I guess I’m going to die in a place like this”. But then I was fortunate to find a stream, which saved me. Are we going to see GuemChi on some Discovery Channel episode of "I Shouldn't Be Alive" sometime? :S Lots of admiration for GuemChi for his humility and maturity handling the situation. I wonder if anyone else is harboring such thoughts? I know July maintain close ties with OGN and BW with that Shin-Ae show. And GuemChi did say some switched over for the chance at prize money and televised games (though I'm sure not streams count as televised) Either way, I don't think the community would be so divided if not for the legal issues BW is facing at the moment, almost seems to force you to choose sides. Anyway, this isn't the thread to discuss this, best wishes to GuemChi and his BW career, hope to see him on a PL stream sometime and available on FPL (if he isn't already). Thanks for translating.

This was a very deep and meaningful interview, good stuff! I think Guemchi will be better off for his experiences and could really give Woongjin that boost they need

OME stands for "Oh My Eyes" and it's used to describe games that are delivered sloppily by both players, making the game itself rather painfully enjoyable. Geumchi was actually quite notorious for getting himself into these OME games (see example), so Koreans started calling him OME Kim to make fun of him... and the nickname stuck with Geumchi lol. So then 09-10 Winner's League rolls along, and Geumchi started getting these ridiculous AK's and 3-kill streaks. Koreans started calling winner's league the "OME's league"

Man... the possibility for nick names seem endless. He already had a lot before he left, but the recent events open the door to so many more. Resurgent-toss or Phoenix-toss (of fenix-toss)? adventure-toss or survival-toss? Only time will tell which will stick.
