Thank you so much for the interview.
Hopefully the Chizzle can hustle some teams with some allkills and what not!
I will shove Kimchi up your ass and watch you writhe in pain.

that's an understatement

Great interview. Thanks for translating. My hope is we see him play a little uniquely (and successfully) due to his time with SC2.
Do an arranged marriage if she's not completely minging, and don't worry about dancing, get a go-kart, cheers.

With free taking a 'break' in February, hopefully this gives Guemchi the opportunity to get back into it. Hope he does well. Thanks for the translation.

I traveled by myself for quite a while. I arrived in India by myself at first but I was with other travelers for the first part of my trip. Then I separated from them and went to Nepal solo for 2 weeks. At one point, I found myself lost while climbing the mountain. When I was going up the mountain it was fine but then as I was going back down I lost the trail and ended up losing my way in the middle of the mountain. I felt like everything was going dark during this time. The whole place was really slippery because it started raining and there were a ton of leeches. I tried to call SOS to the Korean consulate using my emergency handphone but without success. I thought to myself “I guess I’m going to die in a place like this”. But then I was fortunate to find a stream, which saved me.

Are we going to see GuemChi on some Discovery Channel episode of "I Shouldn't Be Alive" sometime? :S

Lots of admiration for GuemChi for his humility and maturity handling the situation.

I wonder if anyone else is harboring such thoughts? I know July maintain close ties with OGN and BW with that Shin-Ae show. And GuemChi did say some switched over for the chance at prize money and televised games (though I'm sure not streams count as televised)

Either way, I don't think the community would be so divided if not for the legal issues BW is facing at the moment, almost seems to force you to choose sides.

Anyway, this isn't the thread to discuss this, best wishes to GuemChi and his BW career, hope to see him on a PL stream sometime and available on FPL (if he isn't already).

Thanks for translating.
MMOs kill APM. However Proleague plus BW Proscene music increase APM -> 100. 이제동 Fighting! Highest ranked Jaedong owner in FPL10 = clearly #1 Jaedong fan~! <- Keeping my sig from 2010

Thanks for the write-up!
This was a very deep and meaningful interview, good stuff! I think Guemchi will be better off for his experiences and could really give Woongjin that boost they need

About OME's league:

OME stands for "Oh My Eyes" and it's used to describe games that are delivered sloppily by both players, making the game itself rather painfully enjoyable. Geumchi was actually quite notorious for getting himself into these OME games (see example), so Koreans started calling him OME Kim to make fun of him... and the nickname stuck with Geumchi lol.

So then 09-10 Winner's League rolls along, and Geumchi started getting these ridiculous AK's and 3-kill streaks. Koreans started calling winner's league the "OME's league"

That was such a good interview, thanks for translating! It's great to hear his opinions about both sides (BW and 2) and Guemchi's whole soul-search to find out what was best for him, and all of his deep discoveries of both gaming scenes . Glad to hear he's back on Woongjin refreshed and ready to ALL-KILL some teams!

That was one of the best interviews I've ever read. Guemchi has much more depth of character to me than pretty much anyone else now. He seems like a genuinely interesting person. I'm definitely more of a fan now.

Makes me want to head off to India right away...

Thanks for the translation.

great interview, great translation

Man... the possibility for nick names seem endless. He already had a lot before he left, but the recent events open the door to so many more. Resurgent-toss or Phoenix-toss (of fenix-toss)?
adventure-toss or survival-toss? Only time will tell which will stick.
