What were you watching? I think you alt tabbed to your redtube window by accident there. o.o
Great interview, very laid back most of the time and what seemed to be very truthful answers from TLO - wasn't much of a fan before, but i'll admit this has changed my opinion quite a lot.
Looking forward to watching him play now!

A nice interview, but I do wonder how it is going to continue for TLO from here. I will not be surprised one bit if in a month or so he will be the worst among the team liquid crew. The SC2 scene is improving so fast, I am not sure how he is going to keep up...
Also, the rule-changing thing is a bit of oxymoron on the part of the league organizers. It's basically a huge disrespect to all those players who participated up until now and had to put up with some of the most idiotic rules, just because they were rules and going by the classic german reasoning "rules above all", it was acceptable. Now, in retrospect, it seems like a bad joke, because they just bent the rules overnight for one single player. I mean, does it not send a message to other players "look, suckers, for you, there's a rule that cannot be bent, but here's a Golden boy, and he's the real deal, and of course above the rules". You cannot be serious, because using rules you just ruined some player's (Naniwa) career.

+1
Great interview and loved the part where he totally sells out his room mates, lol. Now we also know Jinro a lot better, haha!
He should just have answered: "what happens in Korea stays in Korea".

Well thats the ESL...no suprise for me.

For those of you who asked for a transcript of the video, I've made a PDF file of the subtitles: click me for download
Mind you, it's the subtitles only, so no description of what's happening, where they are, etc. And I would also like to point out that the talk hasn't been translated word by word. We would've run into major timing issues if we had done so. But we tried to get the meaning across as best as we could.
So, if TaKeSen could maybe add the link to the OP - that would be awesome. Thank you. ^^

Thanks for this. Fantastic interview of my favorite player.

Holy crap, that beer in the first part made me want a beer so badly... and I don't even drink!

Haha. Great Interview!
i'm surprised this thing isn't done more often with more pros, but the quality of production of this was pretty high. It's obvious that these guys are pros at this. Only slight problem was white subtitles on a sometimes white background, but I don't really know how you could solve that problem short of having closed captions (I think that's what they're called, like white on black background, but its not as visually appealing)
I was very surprised that so many people turned out to welcome TLO back at the airport. Obviously well mannered there. Hope TLO enjoys his time back in Europe!
I love how much nationalist pride there is and I guess how the culture is different than how I expected. Hey, the beer arrived, we can't let it just sit there, CHEERS!
Edit: Added stuff

Being in Korea doesnt just magically make you a better player, sure you have a chance to play against the best on a daily basis, but that doesnt matter if you dont work well on a fixed scheduke crammed into a tiny room. Jinro just won the MLG and yet he doesnt live in Korea...

Jinro does live in Korea and has for as long as TLO did.

great interview. But: carpal tunnel, in both arms. Aching arms from shoulder to fingers....damn! I really really hope he can do the things he wants to and isn't held back by this. but to be perfectly honest I have big doubts about it. to many koreans like oov and others couldn't come back from similar things ((

hahaha nice statement by TLO when he saw the waiting crowd: "Ihr seid ja verrückt!" (you are crazy in german) :D

Great interview. Looking forward to see TLO performing in EU

great interview as expected from dennis

Just watched all the vids, very well produced and you are quite an effective interviewer in your native tongue ;p This is easily the best produced "docu" style vid of any SC2 player.

Thank you for the interview I enjoyed it and now I finally know what pushed his decision to come back to Germany. I hope he gets the best treatment so he can perform soon. I would love to see him dart over to Korea from Time to time to take a shot at GSL and for a short intensive practice-session with his teammates. (Boot-camping) I think that might help him stay on the top, with the other.

good interview, thanks to tlo and take.
