apparently no one liked that it was a secret forum that you needed the link to, and then it swapped to invite only so once your in it, it appears on the forum index.

To further clarify, the games used to be played in General. However, they were cluttering up General and the thread kept being pushed down to the point where people forgot about it, so the games were moved to Sports & Games. However, the same problem occurred there. The mods decided to get it out of the way because most people who were not playing in the games were not interested in them either. So they made a special forum for Mafia. After that, what BC said applies.

It would be, but I doubt the site permissions are coded so that such a thing is possible.

At the moment only Admins are able to add/remove people from forums (i.e. there's only like 6-7 of us who have the power to do it

I've heard of Mafia games on other sites, but I never did understand how it worked. Would it be possible for me to get permission to access the subforum, so that I might watch a game or two play out? For me, at least, learning is easier when I can see examples play out in front of me; a rules list doesn't always seal the deal for me. = /

Who knows, maybe I'll join in on some games once I've got the hang of it... but for now, I really need to see a game in action to understand the mechanics.
