Hakeem is actually in a different class of his own. He's just a different kind of beast.
Bynum is in #2 because when he does play well he is a force in the post as much as I hate to admit it. Problem is that he's inconsistent.

The good news is that if they win they'll probably sweep the winner of Dallas/Denver because both of those teams have no chance in hell of beating the Lakers. The Lakers will have a pretty easy time, actually... Houston doesn't have enough offense. Yao can't play 48 minutes of a game, he's effective for maybe 2.5-3 quarters worth of hard play and then he gets too tired. Artest's offense will be eliminated by Kobe, and there's a 0% chance Artest can slow Kobe down for 7 games. AND even if he can, Kobe's facilitating ability is good enough that Odom, Gasol, Ariza, Vujacic, Brown, etc will all score pretty well. The only chance Houston has is if somehow ALL of the Laker players not named Gasol/Kobe play like total shit for the entire series; not going to happen. If Bynum actually decides to start playing even halfway decently, Houston's in for even more trouble.

If Portland played NO and Houston hosted San Antonio I would have been happier :/ You're talking as if Portland had a chance... look at how they folded vs Houston. These kids just aren't ready for this stage, plain and simple. Maybe next year or in 2 years they will be a really fucking dangerous team, but they haven't hit their ceiling yet.

That's the thing, Robinson and Mutumbo were probably better defenders than Shaq at the time. DHoward has shown a bit more offensive game in these playoffs, but it's still not anything great. Part of the problem is the Magic don't feed him the ball enough. You feed the big man and then start draining 3s, not the other way around. Ron Jeremy is a terrible coach though, so it's not very surprising.
