I think the terms "choke" and "choking" are thrown around too loosely. Just because the Magic didn't convert on a couple of plays, does not mean that they choked. That goes for Kobe Bryant as well, who played terribly down the stretch of game 3. Did he choke? No. "A choke, in my opinion, is when you succumb to the immense pressure of a dire situation and miss a shot, drop a pass, etc., etc. that a professional athlete would normally perform with relative ease." The quote is obviously from an Orlando writer who is defending Courtney Lee's missed layup. But I'm going to agree. Choking is Nick Anderson missing 4 free throws in the last 10.5 seconds to clinch a game. Orlando definitely had a great chance to win the game though.

I think the Lakers do a better job of running their offense inside-out and the Magic don't make all the long 2-pointers they made last game, resulting in a win for LA. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/2009/columns/story?page=ScoutingMagicLakers4 Thorpe/Moreau have an incredible record at predicting games this playoffs. They even were conflicted on game 2.
