hmm ususally someone like bob, gtr, plexa goes to korean pages and grabs a jpg of the groups, but I guess it'll eventually happen!

I've been checking fomos pretty regularly myself and have seen zero news on this. I'm sure as soon as the korean sources release something then you'll have something you can sink your teeth into.

Im really curious about if Reach will participate!

Awesome post

I'm perfectly aware that they are offline, FonTong, thanks for that though.
Well, hopefully we get to see the groups before the event, cuz I like seeing who is up against who, and whether my favourite newbs have a chance of making it through
|
Yeah, Fontong quality post right there man.
Anyway, like GGQ said it should be interesting to see who faces who. Someone usually posts the information when it's available. Since he has has Kespa license now Idra should be participating in this and the OGN prelims, right? It will be very interesting to see how he does.

The offline prelims are really exciting! Day of the upsets. Just imagine the pressure of a high tier player. He must go through three sets of best of three vs semi-pros that can 5 pool you in a second.

Is Casy in this at all? or is he in one of the later rounds.

I tried my best not to make mistakes, but still some could have slipped. I was filling in names in my rest time while studying, so my attention was not 100% in it. Anyways, when they make the official next MSL post, I'm sure the staff will get the minor errors right, so no need to worry(at least I am not worried, I'm leaving this stuff to the "pros" :D)

I'll be very disappointed if we don't get at least eight decent Zergs advancing to the Survivor Tournament.

So did idra quallify for survivor or did july and best somehow not get seeded to survivor?

They didn't get seeded, because of their performance last MSL season. As I understand, ZvT is July's weakness, so combine that with the OSL winner's curse and IdrA might have a shot

So, Idra is a licensed progamer, didnt he had to win courage to get his license or he is already considered licensed progamer for being in the team?

How the hell do you expect me to answer this question with any kind of authority? I explained to you the requirements of playing in the prelims, they're pretty simple, but just because a player meets the requirements doesn't mean they don't have other factors that keep them from playing in the prelims. Maybe it's an injury in some cases, maybe they're planning on retiring, i dunno it could be huge variety of things that keeps a player from participating.

Stop asking where is who. All the players who made it to the Ro32 are seeded for the next qualifying stage. The known names appearing in this prelims are all those who didn't even manage to go that far last season.
If you just want to know why your favorite player is not listed, go here and check the Ro32. If you spot him there, it means you get to see him in the next round. If not, tough luck. He either early retired or his team management didn't let him participate for whatever unknown reasons.

I think Idra can beat July. If Idra practices hard against 2 hatch muta, and other low econ zerg pushes, he can win. Whether the storm and July falls apart. Or at least thats how its been for the last while in July's zvt. Either way I think he has a legitimate chance.

This is the first stage for people with a progamer licens to qualify for MSL survivor. The games are bo3 and only one player from each group qualifies for survivor. You are out of the group if you lose and you must wait for the next offline prelims to try again.

Ah. In that case, so long as Idra keeps control of his nerves, he actually has a legit shot at getting into Survivor. July is weak zvt, he sucks at taking it into a late-macro game [which I heard is what idra is best at], and all the other players are 'no names' or mediocre names. About on par with Idra. I'm not saying hes a favorite or has a huge chance, but he does have a chance.
