i mean he's obviously very good but he's the kind of guy who jogs/walks around never losing the ball sometimes making genius passes or shots, whereas what united wants is players who are great at winning the ball who quickly sprint forward and then make some key pass to someone else sprinting forward. | ||

i don't understand why you'd want to dish out that much money on a forward when you have some good ones already. work on replacing ronaldo first, then add others. | ||

Nice game USA - Italy, first half, red card for USA, which was max yellow imho... Then USA makes own goal, disqualified, offside or was it ? Then next attack USA gets penalty and 1-0. Second half have been really been played only at 1 goal. Italy managed to get 2 goal with long shots... 15mins left, but its over. USA is done. Goals by; Donovan;; Rossi;; De Rossi. | ||

 .first half was even, but second was Italys. With better finnishing Italy could have done like 3 more goals. Red card killed US. But dont blame ref, he was equally bad. Penalty was kinda cheap call too and some refs would have not called offside on that own goal on first half, 50-50 call. | ||

I mean, US has no skill so there was no possession and we weren't stringing together any passes but Italy wasn't doing shit either. Once subs came on for Italy it went down hill pretty fast. Rossi got his goal a few minutes after coming on. wtf is it with the US and red cards? Whenever there's a 50/50 chance of receiving one, we always get it. | ||
