Aston Villa really should have had the game buried, but they couldn't find that vital 3rd goal. Macheda's goal was decent, but any United striker is capable of doing that in the circumstances. When you're in the ascendancy like United were, when you're streaming players forward desperate to score and there's no time for hesitation, things like that just happen. I don't really think United deserved to win the game, but they showed that they still have that air of invincibility and that recent results are just a blip. I still want Liverpool to win this year though :p Liverpool to win the PL, ManU to win the CL, that would be perfect.

First off, I am really truly impressed by Lass Diarra. He is probably one of the best signings Real Madrir has done in years. This players is so awesome. First time I actually got to watch him was in the France vs Argentina friendly game, where he ruled the midfield, being so strong ans big he ran over messi and Kun. the game was 0-0 thanks to him, until Tevez came as a sub and He was the only one who had a strong body type to compete with him, and argentina scored their goal. The numbers dont lie either. Ever since Makelele left Real, they have been really struggling to find a replacement DFM. It has coasted Real nearly 98 million, including Lass 20 million. Gravesen (3,5 millones), Pablo García (5,5), Emerson (16), Diarra (26), Gago (18), De la Red (4,5) o Javi García (4,5). I think they finally found a replacement for Makelele and he is like a better version, losses less balls and recovers more balls. Plus him and gago working together in the Md they make an awesome combo. 2nd I got to say I am so happy to see Manchester United going to a loosing slump. I am so happy, I cant imagine all the United Fan boys that post here, ( not everyone) crying like little babys to see their so great glory team losing. Dont get me wrong I dont have anything against Man U, but Just so many fanboys here that made me sick, and finally seeing their team lose and realize that ManU is not the all mighty team they defend makes me happy =D. I do want them to reach the finals of the CL tho. Either them or Arsenal, it would be kinda meh to have Porto or Villareal. I am really impressed also by Barcelonas play now days. I never really like Henry or Henry being at Barca, but I got to admit he is either finally adapted or started playing for real, but the thing is he is finally doing good stuff for Barca. Eto'o probably the best striker on the world as of now? pretty impressive numbers this year, 31 games 29 goals. counting all competitions O_O and just in la liga 28 26. He is on his way to get Europes Golden B. He can even break many records this year if he keeps scoring the way he does. Messi, standard monster. He is raking up awards to finally get best player of the year he deserves. as of now he is the CL top scorer, and I dont want to assume anything but if barca keeps playing the way they are they are going to be Cl champs with messi as a top scorer. One thing, Xavi and In iniesta do not get nearly enough credit that they deserve, they are such monster players totally awesome that make Barca work. but since they dont score many goals they do not get the credit they deserve. Mad love and props for them. Raping Bayern 4-0 was beautiful besides the fact that bayern had many injuries, it is still impressive. and they are still alive in all competitions, Finals Copa del Rey, number 1 in liga with 6 points different, and CL Champions League wise, Porto-United, I dont see united dead already as many think, I still think they are favorite to advance even after their 2-2 draw at home I would say 55% United takes it. But Porto does have quality players, hopefully they have courage and "garra" and win. Arsenal v Villareal, Arsenal should deff win it. I just dont see Villareal advancing and I dont even want them 2. Their squad this year has awesome players, but no one really really outstanding. and while is kinda cool to see small teams get far, I would rather watch arsenal v Man u than Villareal v Man u. Some years ago Villareal vs Arsenal, it was different, Villar had Juan Roman and Forlan, so they had a better chance, and I remember it was so painful so see Roman miss that penalty x(. Other side, Barca v Bayern, something catastrophic has to happen in order for barca to not advance. and the other game, I really want Liverpool and I will cheer til the end for Liverpool to advance , but that 1-3 at home really hurt. I think Chelsea will advance. Well I wanted to post so many things and while writting I forgot some lolz so maybe when I remember more stuff I will come back to post again. and I think Im going to start posting regularly again here again ![]()

Juan Roman used to be one of my favorite players, but for fucks sake who does he think he is? He can be real talented and all but his personality and ego sucks. He first had the problem with Pelegrini, I was like well ok maybe it was the Chileans fault, but now then he quits the Natinal team? wtf Roman What really pissed me off tho, is what happened at La Bombonera some weeks ago ( Boca Juniors Home stadium). Almost every Boca fan booed and turned their backs at Maradona in support of Riquelme, I mean I guess everyone can have their own opinions but Boca juniors fans turning their back at Maradona to support Riquelme was really low. Let me remind you Boca fans some things Maradona did not kick Roman out, He left. Maradona had him on the list of players to play Venezuela. Maradona planned to used him as a Starter in the game. Who is really the Boca Juniors Idol? Maradona back in the day was willing to play for free for Boca, in Fact in 1981 Part of his contract was paid with properties and real estate that did not even exist! Even when young Maradona was really poor and in really need of money for his family. While Riquelme when was 1st promoted to the Boca A team, said, " I will never leave Boca Juniors" and then those words were forgotten when he quickly went to Europe. And after his big fight with pelegrini he said he would come back to Boca for 3 seasons and only get paid for 2! did that ever happen~? Maradona might not be a Truly Boca idol like attin, Pescia, Rojas, Suñé, Mouzo, Pernía, Roma, Gatti, Guillermo Barros Schelotto, maybe he is on a second level, but got fucks sake HE DID NOT DESERVED THE TREATMENT HE GOT AT LA BOMBONERA

Maradona dissed Roman, told him to get the fuck in shape and start playing well or he wouldnt play for la selección. We all know Roman has a delicate personality and he should be treated 'differently'. You don't go fucking giving an interview on national television speaking about how much hes sucking right now, that's just not the way to motivate him. Maradona could have spoken to him personally, but no... Riquelme has had several minor injuries and his current fitness level and form aren't near of what is expected from Boca's #10. On April 13 2009 15:56 mAKiTO wrote: I also wanted to comment on the Riquelme//Maradona situation, and share some interesting info i read While Riquelme when was 1st promoted to the Boca A team, said, " I will never leave Boca Juniors" and then those words were forgotten when he quickly went to Europe. They can't keep their players and I'm sure you know about this. Even if you love the club and say you will be there forever, if the club needs the money, they will sell you, even if you are a footballing god. Im sure Maradona never expected (neither did I) Roman to take such a drastic measure for the criticism he received. And the Boca hinchas were also too harsh with the Bombonera chants and flags. Short version: Maradona messed up. Riquelme messed up. Boca hinchas messed up. Argentina got wtf pwned.

He's been ok for Braga. He's on loan from Porto and I don't think they'll get him back, so he'll probably move in the summer. Doubts about him having a place at Tottenham tho.

He is a fellow Colombian and I heard he is playing there, but does he get play time? has he done any good? I think since Christmas he's played in every game. But as a substitute most of the time. I don't think he's scored yet either. Most players take a while to get used to the pace of the Premiership, so you never know what will happen next season.

Overreact much? But you're right it was a TERRIBLE penalty. The whole game was rubbish. United played their 2nd team with Macheda showing us exactly how overrated he is. Everton on the other hand were just awful. I suppose that's what you get when the best players on the pitch are center backs.
