On an amusing note... Alan Shearer is now Newcastle manager and it's NOT an April fools! They hailed Keegan as the Messiah when he returned; so I guess that would make Shearer God Almighty. Regardless it would be funny if Shearer was the first manager to take Newcastle down into the Championship.

Not a happy debut for Maradona. yeah dunno wtf happened there, masherano played like s.hit playing in altitude is extremely hard tho, historically bolivia always hold argentina up when it came to playing on their field

Heinze needs to go. Zanetti is to old to be playing. Aguero? he does fine in Europe, but he has no place in Argentina with Messi, Di Maria, Tevez, etc. We need one big guy in the front too. The defence needs some reworking. Brazil has been playing really bad too. (they had lots of luck in the game with Ecuador). At this rate the real contender from South America will be Paraguay, though this is football, and anything can happen. Maybe when the world cup comes, Brazil decides to go 3-0 against every team (like they do sometimes l o l). I think coaches in argentina need to grow some balls and kick the players that dont give 100% in the games, even if they have big names, like they did with Riquelme.
