But IMO people act the way they do because BW is extremely frustrating and the return for the effort you put in is not worth it 99% of the time. Its hard for some people to come to grips with the fact that the best players in the world only beat players of similar skill level about 60% of the time, and 60% would be a great percentage probably top 3 or 4. Once you realize that regardless of how good you are if you play people in a similar skill set to yourself (even several notches below) you may lose through many circumstances some of which may not even be under your direct control then you start to see how futile bw is. No one wins all the time, not even the best player in the world, and thats hard for some people to grasp (im sure most dont even think about it). I for one expected myself to perform well every game (even if I knew the player was better than me) and I understand now that I held myself to way too high of standards especially for the amount of time I put into actual "practcie" which was basically none(playing games isnt real practice imo, you need repetitions of situations/build orders to truly get better). I think the sooner off some of these guys learn that you cant do your best all the time the better off they will be. BW is just frustrating as hell and Id like to give most people the benefit of the doubt that their personality (maybe they arent laid back) with a combination of frustration and lack of return causes people to get upset a lot (and its usually why they are fine later on). Dont believe that most of these newer progamers dont get pissed off too, I bet its a bit of a shock for them when they first get on a pro team and lose umpteen matches in a row and after months of practice they dont see much in return. | ||

When people who are known flame against them we give them a warning or they get temp-banned. This is simply how it works here. When people who are known are having a heated debate but are intelligent in the way they write, they do not get banned. The topic might get closed but they don't get banned. People get banned here for being shitty posters. | ||
