I still think you give too much free info. It's one thing to frame out what some basic surrounding things are, but it's another to start describing in detail what some of it is. Like the robe descriptions of the first bad guy encounters, or the ornate arrow, etc.

It's a DM style thing Wei2, just give it up.

It's only really a huge deal when the players themselves aren't capable of distinguishing what should and shouldn't affect their decision-making, but otherwise, more information is fine, especially when it's for the benefit of stream viewers.

There is no such thing as a diplomacy roll.

Rex rolled deception and failed. I had to roll deception after using Charm Person. There were plenty of checks the entire night, including Charisma and Persuasion checks.

The robe descriptions are what we would see. The arrowhead may have been a little more detailed than necessary or reasonable to be noticed in the middle of an ambush, but it was driving home the point that this was a group of people that were specifically not the Esgogroth.

If you weren't paying attention to the whole stream, then you have no business making criticism like this.

I was telling yango as he asked me why I didn't do all the deception/charisma stuff as it's usually my character's 'bag' as it were, so I explained to him: not only would my character not give a shit to step in and do so every time it's necessary, but other people need a chance, to take charge and lead/try fun things too. There were plenty of relevant checks and attempts to do fun things last night. During My interrogation of the kidnappee it was made pretty clear to me that aside from the one intimidation roll which succeeded, other rolls weren't necessary because from asmo's RPing I wasn't going to get anything out of her anyway.
