Hey man, Gimble's not Lawful Good here. He's Neutral Good, which in this particular case implies a large degree of utilitarianism when it comes to his quest because of the widespread implications of a secretive world-manipulating race of mentalists or whatever they are. He'll do whatever it takes to complete it, preferably with as little casualties as possible, but mission success is priority here (which obviously means his and the party's survival, because who else is going to tackle this conspiracy), and his paranoia was kicked up to high in the town. We were compelled to get rope, the implications for what happened to travelers (we didn't see any of them in town and we couldn't leave so...), the flesh wounds from something, lost time, and then the boarded up temple/faint phantoms of things we couldn't detect pretty much put him in a state of mounting paranoia. The confirmation that he and the rest of the town was being controlled and fed upon, confirming the worst, just triggered the "kill the creatures NOW" frenzy he had.
His justifications for it was as much him rationalizing his actions ex post facto as a result of extreme paranoia (and unconfirmed speculation about how far gone the town was) as to reassure Roger ..

That depends if he finds evidence that they weren't that far gone and could've been saved. If he does, ENDLESS GUILT.

Only town we ever destroyed was built around an oasis, when we discovered the tomb of an elf leader underground and drank so much from the everflowing chalice atop it (which irrigated the "garden" in the mausoleum) that its magic dried up, and so did the oasis... ups.
Looks like you were a bit more murderous.
(Plus, we know we didn't doom everyone, because our guide kept coming after us in revenge despite the lack of proof that we did it! So clearly it's not that big a deal.)

Right, for tomorrow:
Since I'll be working in one of the larger polling stations in my county (plus we're expecting major crowds tomorrow for a primary because reasons), polls will prob close ~9PM EST assuming everything goes well and there aren't any problems, and the drive is like 10-15 minutes for me afterwards. So expect ~9:15-9:30ish, shouldn't be later than 10.
I'll probably send you guys a skype message when I start the drive, kk? I'll start the group call or something when I get back.

I dunno my FIL works on this kind of stuff during elections and hes always there super late.
I'm not sure how different things are or the difference between what he'd be doing and what you are, but I'd honestly be surprised if you get home when you think.

I'm fine with a bit of a delay, we managed it just fine last week. Underwater combat should be interesting.

I mean polls close at 8, so depending I'm giving myself ~1hr time for the post-poll-closing-work (which is fairly straightforward). Could be delayed by long lines after 8PM, or if there's a mismatch in ballots/vote tally/registrations etc, but it shouldn't take too long.
