Let's talk numbers. Let's assume this is the first post on page 1074. 26 pages - 520 posts. 8 hours - 480 minutes. 1,08 posts per minute.

I'm especially excited to hear about the potential of weekend tournaments (IEM / DreamHack style) in Korea!! I think it would be amazing for some of the Korean's that don't travel much to get that "endurance" practice!

The hype may be the key to reaching the 1100th page, but it is our jokes and opinions that'll make it happen. After everything we've been through, past all the trolling and warnings, the one thing I know, is that we can count on each other...to get the job done. Or get banned trying. If that's what it takes. Because some things are just worth fighting for.

Didn't they say this thread will be renamed and the other started?

I like how they didn't lock Korean region. It's like saying: go ahead, try to qualify for GSL!

This kills foreign hope though I think it kills foreign "charity". Snute was within a few hundred points (I think a single higher placing would have been enough) from qualifying this year. Next year will likely be similarly hard. However, I still think that there are practice benefits to the region lock. Western players will be able to compete a little bit more and improve.
As a spectator I do like that region lock gives larger tournaments in which I can cheer for a "home town hero". It could also draw some of the hype of having Koreans traveling to weekend events (like it was when the first Koreans came over for an MLG or IEM).
We also don't have the final word on the region lock and how it will affect every "foreign Korean" (besides Polt, I think he's a sure thing to remain in WCS AM).
