I am very pleased to announce that the Salt Lake Comic Con FanX event will be hosting a Starcraft 2 tournament with a $3000 prize pool! Utah's finest players will take on professional players from around the world in a 1-day live/online hybrid event at Comic Con on April 18th.
Prize Pool
1st: $1200
2nd: $600
3rd-4th: $300
5th-8th: $150

All qualifiers will be broadcasted on http://www.twitch.tv/MagnetSC2.
The main event's stream location is to be determined.
Qualifier Information
Qualifier #1 Registration and Info Page : Saturday April 12th, 3:30 PM EST
Qualifier #2 Registration and Info Page : Sunday April 13th, 3:30 PM EST
Event Information
Players who qualify and are not from Utah will NOT be expected to travel to the event. They will play online against Utah's players who will be playing on stage at the event.
Tournament Format
Qualifiers will be all best-of-3, with ladder maps in the map pool, excluding Daedalus Point and Yeonsu. The main event will be best-of-5 until the finals, which is best-of-7.
