Q&A:
What is this TLADT West vs. East thing?
TLADT West vs. East is a gaming competition brought to you by Teamliquid's Anime Discussion Thread. It will be a bo5 different games - BW, DotA2, LoL, CS:GO, and SSBM.
Can I be a part of this?
The prerequisite is that you have frequented either the Anime Discussion thread on Teamliquid or our IRC. Whether you get chosen to be on any of the lineups, however, is up to the two captains (Souma for West and EchOne for East).
How did this get started and why?

What constitutes as "West Coast" and "East Coast?

Where does the rest of the world fit in?
Canada is split similarly like the U.S. As for the rest, since the U.S. is the center of the world, Europe will be part of the East while Oceania/Asia will be a part of the West. We have no players from other continents so they don't matter.
When will the games be played?
We will start with Brood War next week. We plan on focusing on one game a week so that we can adhere to everyone's schedule.
What is the format for each game?
BW will be a bo5 team match, with each player playing one game each on a map already chosen by a neutral third-party (KazeHydra).

Line-ups will be submitted by Sunday night PDT.
DotA and LoL with be standard bo1s. CS:GO will be a bo1 on de_dust2. SSBM will employ the crew battle format, though 3v3, for a total of 12 stocks per side (if we get more willing players this will increase of course).

At first I honestly thought the East would steamroll us in Brood War, but after looking at our lineup I actually think we can beat them. We have strong players with potential. As for the other four games... too easy. We'll dominate them.
