 plus there are Saturday tournaments a couple times a month: Mass Madness and Hall of Gaming have been going for many years, and there are some one-off tournaments too (Vericon this Saturday at Harvard, NSA2 next Saturday at NEU) | ||

Game Over is held in Cambridge, MA a block away from the subway stop at Harvard (so it's super convenient for the legions of college students in the Boston area); Smashing Grounds is held at Game Underground in Framingham, MA, which is about 25 miles from Boston. Mass Madness is also at Game Underground, while Hall of Gaming is in Connecticut, about a 2 hour drive from Boston. But yeah, I'd imagine that in most places, if you need to drive 45 minutes to get anywhere, it'd definitely be hard to have weekday tournaments :/ | ||
