I think Machine is next.
iNcontroL will never leave EG. I think the best move for him is to resign as a player, and become some sort of coach or commentator and a spokesperson for EG. However, I don't see him resigning as a player because he does a lot of coaching which is really profitable for him. I think that if he retires - he will lose a lot of his coaching potential ( I don't think many people would like to be coached by someone retired as a player). I do have respect for iNcontroL, and the respect will be greater when he retires as a player .
I think it is a little comical that LzGamer says that he leaves by his own choice (Unless he has personal life issues he needs to fix... if it is that, then I am sorry for what I said) I doubt any team would like to acquire him, will he retire from sc2, or try a fresh start with HotS... I don't think so
I also don't know what future there is for the teamhouse in Arizona... It is interesting what will happen with it. I don't think they will keep it for very long, unless it houses LoL or Dota2 EG players.
Btw - a little off topic, but I think we need some more EG or (EG-TL) coverage on what's happening with the players, interviews and teamhouse atmosphere. There used to be a lot more of that in the past

LZ was the inventor of the 5-raxx reaper during the beta. He is by enlarge the reason why respers virtually dissapeared from WoL pro gaming for more than 2 years.
Given the business model from EG, this move doesn't surprise me. He barely joined EG in meaningful tournament and his results have not been up to the teams standards. He's a cool guy. He'll land on his feet.

Wow, imagine being Machine and reading through this. Everyone saying hes next to go. No wonder pros don't post on these forums as often anymore.

Machine lives in the house in Arizona, Lz didn't. He didn't get cut when Axslav and StrifeCro did either.
Besides, I doubt it's a cut, it seems to be his decision.
And nearly all coaches are retired players. Boxer, Nada?

I liked his reaper stuff back in the day. Good times.

Yes, I know he lives in the house in Arizona. That is why I am wondering what will happen with the house, when he gets cut

I imagine LZ will be around after he gets married. He has been practicing a lot

Well he just got engaged and will probably get married soon so that might be the biggest reason for this rather than "He's bad, he got cut"
|
Or maybe it's best to say that it's the two reasons combined

On Topic: GL to Lz in whatever he chooses to pursue next

Sad to see LZ go; I wonder if he will continue playing SC2 or if this is his step out of the scene. He was the only EG member I really "liked," always incredibly polite and manner in conversation and in game.

i guess his contract was about to expire and EG didn't offer enough on the new contract so LZ decided to go solo and get a better offer in hots.
and yes i was playing beta and less then a month of beta lz was using mass reaper before anyone, he often transitioned quicker in to a marauder push or something.

Lz made people hate me. When I started sc2 on the retail I did some of the training maps, that are slower and have rocks protecting you from early rushes. Well the Rocks didn't stopped Reapers.
Wish him the best ^.^ he brought micro above a-move to starcraft2. Atleast to Terran, well Zerg got another title partly thanks to him.

According to twitter he is 'All-in' for HOTS and isn't leaving the SC2 scene.
Hoping that wherever Lz ends up that we see more of him. While he hasn't had the best results, he is definitely one of those people that you can't help but like.
GL Lz!

Good luck to you sir. you were one of the first streams I've ever watched. I remember it was an absurdly late game vs. terran.

I hope he does awesome in HotS, from what I've seen of it, reapers are bossmode . More seriously though, this guy is supposed to be so chill, I hope he does great in his future endeavors.

Best wishes going forward Lz!
