Bush is old O&G money, they don't get along with wall street money, something about being resentful of how they don't actually have to create real products. O&G invests heavily in local governments (they have to because they make most of the decisions about what they can and can't do to make money) so they want the decisions made there. Basically, Wall street only needing to buy NY and the Feds is outperforming O&G despite nearly collapsing their own industry. What you see happening is different billionaire puppets arguing over who's billionaire should get a better deal. it's remarkably naked right now. | ||
