Of course not, Republicans spent years spinning that lie. Suddenly his "straight talk" isn't so liked when it matches up with reality.

Except I believe Cruz was right. Kennedy was nominated in 77.

Edit: made the same mistake as moderator (kind of). LOL

He was nominated on 87, not 77. His confirmation took place right before primary.

A quick google search says he was nominated in Nov 77. He took his seat in 78.

The article you linked is from 1987.....

We were talking about when he was nominated. I'm confused. I believe the moderator said Kennedy was nominated in 88, which is wrong.

He was nominated for ninth circuit in 75. Was nominated for supreme court in nov 87 and took office in feb 88

OHHH, you guys took a typo and ran with it. I meant 87. Obviously Reagan wasn't president in 77. lmao.

I'll fix them right now lol.

Many of Trumps supporters literally don't care that his numbers never add up or that half of the words out of his mouth are half truths or flat out lies, or that his plans are illegal/nonsensical.

Yes, that was 5 months before the primary. His comfimation took place during an election year. Cruz was wrong because he said it has never happened. People looked it up and it's happened like 16 to times.

It happens when you try to reference previous election years without accounting for how the process has changed over the years.

"China; Vietnam; Mexico; America; Great; Jerbs"

I don't know about the 16 others but you are right about Kennedy's confirmation.

Anyone confused by Bush's anti wall street talk allow me to give a brief explanation.

Bush is old O&G money, they don't get along with wall street money, something about being resentful of how they don't actually have to create real products. O&G invests heavily in local governments (they have to because they make most of the decisions about what they can and can't do to make money) so they want the decisions made there.

Basically, Wall street only needing to buy NY and the Feds is outperforming O&G despite nearly collapsing their own industry. What you see happening is different billionaire puppets arguing over who's billionaire should get a better deal.

it's remarkably naked right now.
