Guaranteed Minimum Income >>>>>>> Increased Minimum Wage >>> Current Minimum Wage.

Yeah, they got the message.

Minimum wage should be inflation indexed and adjust automatically, rather than requiring periodic and politicized jumps. Agreed that it should be indexed to inflation, but first there probably could be a simple jump. However, I absolutely disagree with a jump to $15 per hour. I mean, if we wanted to match the highest real minimum wage in our history we'd put it somewhere around $10.60...I'm sure somewhere here has the number memorized and will correct me...but then throwing another 50% increase on top of that seems a little excessive. Edit: Okay, so people want a "living wage"...then why are we fighting for a national $15.00/hr minimum wage? Using: http://livingwage.mit.edu/ as a source, I can't find a single state with a living wage at $15.00, most of them seem to be in the $9-$12 range. Hell, even the states that I would of guess of having close to $15.00 living wages (California, NY, MA, etc.) come in around the $12.50 - $13.00 range. Edit2: Ok, I did find one close to $15 being DC. And for a single parent? Not to mention you all are aware of how bargaining works right? I was under the impression that a living wage was a wage designed to support a single person...not a family.
Nope
by living wages I mean more than a bare subsistence level-I mean the wages of decent living.
That includes progeny.
In reality it also probably meant a wife who didn't work. Propaganda has done a pretty good job convincing people it was for burger-flipping teenagers though.

Considering how the healthcare debate went I'd say might as well go for the guaranteed income They've already made it clear they are going to fight people working trying to get a living wage might as well go for the gusto.

Jeb Bush complaining about regulations... His brother issued more Regs in his first 3 years that Obama did.

Rand sounds like he has a wad of chew in his cheek.
|
What a fucking bullshit question. The average CEO doesn't earn even close to 300x the average employees salary...that would mean the average employee only makes a little over $800 a year.
|
Ok watching Rand in HD I can't help but ask: Does anyone think the hair on top of his head is actually growing out of it?
It's not a knock on him being bald (who cares?) it's just a very petty thing to lie about in my opinion, so I just can't help but wonder what else he isn't being honest about.

Yeah, but that particular project failed.

And Trump would say that's because we didn't have a wall!
The point was it was actually possible to move that many people. Keeping them in their home country? Harder.
But to answer the question, that's what he was referring to.

Cruz is a smart mofo. Great immigration answer.

Yawn, tired of them hitting the old talking points and spreading the same ol' hate. Also the same ol' nonsense about plans as if any of them can actually get their plans done; I want to hear more about what people would do as president, not what they'd do if they were dictators. Of course I tend to hate on everything so pretty much as expected.

Is Ted Cruz suggesting taxing international profits for companies?
Only 700 Billion jesus.
Oh God Rick Perry moment.
|
Cruz should really be barred from all public office; such nonsense. like any tax collection system can work if there's noone to collect those taxes.

He repeated "Department of Commerce" twice, I think.
