Assuming you have all been keeping up with the GM hacker posts or have seen the old post about me, it was said that i was a maphacker, but the truth is i was leveled into GM. The last 3 seasons that i have been grandmaster i have been getting leveled by GameOfDrone aka lone, SpaceJamz, or parasite. We have been doing the leveling since i first got grandmaster during season 5. I personally can only play at a low masters level and always wanted to be gm. At first i had no idea who he was or if he cheated, but it was clear to me he could get me where i wanted to be. And after the first season i was gm from his leveling, starting up in season 6 i noticed his build orders to be a little odd and after him refusing to give me demos it became clear to me he was a hacker. I never told him i knew until the WCS post came about. Still i had him level me a little and finally he did admit to using hacks and hacking while he leveled my account. Now i still had him level me in advance before i paid him and ended up having him play about 14 hours worth without me paying him. Now i can't pay him because of financial issues so therefore he started threatening me. Saying he was going to get all my accounts banned and have all the demos sent to blizzard if i couldn't get him paid. Now i feel its the best time to admit my wrongs before he starts making posts pretending to me and trying to get me banned from all my starcraft2 accounts. Getting leveled is wrong in general, but having a hacker do it is worse. I'm sorry to the community and everyone starcraft2 related that was affected by my actions. Also if you see any other HRGzack account on teamliquid or reddit it isn't me. This is my only teamliquid account name. I'm assuming hes going to try and make posts to get me banned off starcraft2 and such, but i am saying this now, he did hack and probably most every game played on my account as protoss in grandmaster league. Again i am sorry for my actions, i am not expecting to be forgiven, but i needed to finally admit this. Anyone can message me in game on starcraft2 and ask questions if you like. I also will replay on the forum if anyone wants to know all of gameofdrones alias's and who he leveled . Happy 4th of july! *This will be the only post made by me anyone else is a fake!! You can message me in starcraft2 to confirm* How much are you supposed to be paying him? Sounds like a lame excuse.

tl:dr I was hacking, but I'm going to blame another hacker and just hope I can be forgiven for knowing someone hacked his way to GM for me and then I dodged and didn't pay the hacker and I'm scared he might tarnish my shitty reputation by getting me banned on sites where no one likes me. To add, I continued to play and hack in GM rofl.

Did I get everything right? Sorry to be a little skeptical, but this just seems very far-fetched and contradictory. How does a low masters make it into WCS? Why didn't you stop leveling when you heard the guy was a hacker? Why would a hacker try to blackmail you to Blizzard? Even if this story is true, I don't really think that this clears your reputation, you still a bunch of stupid decisions.

1. Thanks for posting. 2. Most people won't be forgiving you because you allowed a known hacker to play on your account and level you up. You were enabling him, even if you weren't doing the hacking. 3. Good luck in the future, don't hack, don't associate with hackers, make a new account, and move on.

This is pretty much all that can be said. It could be a lie (an effective form of lying is telling a lie where you did something bad to cover up doing something even worse), but is actually not relevant whether he was the hacker or just the enabler. It's not like we're holding a moral court here (well, Reddit likes to play Judge Judy so maybe they are). He should be banned from SC2 because there was hacking done on his account with his knowledge.

Seems like your story is bullshit and you are trying to disassociate yourself from hacking. I can see why too. Alot of people would sooner be labelled naive, and a slight scumbag than be labelled a hacker and have your reputation completely tarnished / ruined. Im calling BS on this. Yeah, but why would he care about his rep if he's just your everyday low-tier master's player? I mean that's like ME caring about my rep. He could just change his IP and his account name and be a new person. I just don't think he really gains anything from posting this at all, which is the reason I think that his story is probably true.

Also the op is more hilarious now I've read it again, assuming this is a true, which I think it is because nobody could honesty believe a lie like this would help salvage their reputation. 1) I can't believe you paid money to get into GM. What did you do when you were there, not play and tell your school friends you once beat Destiny? 2) The fact that the hacker actually blackmailed you by threatening to expose you as a hacker and destroy your reputation. And now you want to come clean in attempt to save your accounts? Seriously, if anything this should put the nail in the coffin on your permanent bann. Not only have your account been maphacking/micro hacking for months, you've also had somebody else play your account to reach high ranking which is strictly forbidden aswell.

He was going to still be going until MLG decided this was just dumb as shit and banned him.

It is equivalent to me saying I always wanted to be in the Olympics and having Usain Bolt assume my identity in order to qualify me. It makes that much sense.

Hes an unknown, he was TX in cevo, name is Zack A, got caught cheating on client then ban evading made a fool of himself. Its an old ban and i don't even think its in the records anymore, just some refrences to it on esea. His id is STEAM_0:0:42906444 pretty sure hes had other accs but i dont know them He got recently banned from this small league that my team has been playing called rgaleague, only in its second season, but its $1000 prize for winning team. He managed to get on one of the play off teams and was caught cheating again. Hes also a friend of my teammates and rings for him alot. Durring a few conversations he told everyone that he was cheating however for the most part he tries to play it off as if he is legit even with his teammates. I know for a fact its the same guy cause he has bragged to my teammate about how amazing he is in starcraft telling him things like how hes pretty much professional level at sc2 and has linked his sc2 account.

It'll cost you $10 per division and your self-respect! What do you have to lose? Edit: may I be the first person to welcome you to teamliquid, the finest sc2 community on the interwebz

I'm supposed to pity this idiot? How does his poor self esteem change the fact that what he did was wrong? If you have self esteem issues go lift weights or get counseling or something. He is still a dog without honor.

By reading your post it seems you're roughly 13 years old since I can't imagine anyone that has actually gone through middle school to have that bad of grammar. P.S. I bet this is how he felt after he got his account leveled into GM.

And to the people saying that he's a disgusting human being that should be ashamed... lets be real. I understand that it should be looked down upon and all but hes not even a progamer. He's just another everyday player. Here's something to look at. My friend gave me his bronze account like 3 months ago. I renamed it to a barcode account but i had'nt had much time to play on it so I asked another of my friends to ladder the account to masters for me (im already a masters player on NA and KR). should i be ashamed of myself? i gave him $5 on paypal because im lazy. Does that make me a disgusting human being?

What he did makes him a disgusting human being because he attempted to profit from his ill-gotten status, i.e. he actually intended to use the free tickets that blizzard was going to provide. Cheaters are always looking for shortcuts (whether in life or gaming). That makes them disgusting human beings in my eyes.

We as a community have a pretty warped point of view were we satanize hackers even into the point of threats of violence. Once in while just sit back and remember that for most people this is just a game.

If you can't understand this your view is warped. Edit: Have you taken complete leave of your senses? Are you a hacker? Are you trying to imply that hacking is acceptable? Hackers waste people's time. Any game you lose to a hacker is a waste; a lot of people play this game to get better....how are you going to get better playing against someone who is cheating?

Oldest excuse in the book. Do us all a favour and stop playing. The game could do with less hackers.
