You do nothing but hurt eSports when you contact sponsors over ANYTHING. Anything that will take money away from a player or organization because "herpderp they said some words" is hurting the whole of eSports. If noone made a big deal out of dumb shit like this then there would never be any problem It's the "fans of eSports" that are hurting it.

Ha why did people contact sponsors before? I asked the same question myself. Why did people not realize that even in the Destiny case it affects SC2 and those sponsors? Don't look at me man. I'm just doing what others wanted. If you read this thread there's tons of posts all in favor of saying these things are bad and should suffer the consequences. Why should it only pertain to certain people though?

Although you're consistent, WHY didn't you contact EG? Why did you run straight to the sponsors? EG knows there players. Whats telling them information they already know going to do? I thought it was fair to contact the sponsors such as others have done. Fairness is fairness. If a few are to be punished. All should be punished.

No one will ever be totally free to speak or type anything on the stream and will close many doors that we have with these players.

If you don't like what a certain person's behavior is, do not watch them, do not support them, and even inform their team that you aren't going to watch or support them as long as the player is there. That's a good and strong way to get your point across, and if a lot of people take that approach, you can bet your ass players are going to shape up.
Going to sponsors directly is the worst possible thing you can do: you're basically letting them know that their investment into ESPORTS is backfiring.

I honestly don't care what happened in the stream, I just think its ridiculous that people are wanting to email every teams sponsors complaining about a few specific players. One stupid little thing happens and sponsors from other teams not even involved are flooded with emails about people bitching about a few specific incidents that happened long ago.
This community can be ridiculous sometimes and it is disgusting, I don't care what so ever about Destiny or what happened to him. People need to stop emailing sponsors over stupid stuff, whatever i'm out of this thread for good. This community disgusts me at times.
