Warriors are shit.
Amidoingitrite?
I agree; OKC-Miami would be more entertaining than OKC-Boston. If you had asked me 1 or 2 games ago, I might not have felt as strongly, but it seems that Boston's offensive revelation has slowed down.

I wouldn't be getting those hopes up too much. The Warriors will do well if they make the Playoffs.
They need to shed some bad contracts and work on their depth a bit. Health will be a big issue for that team. They're assembled perfectly to plug a superstar player into the squad, but there aren't any available and the Dubs have no cap space anyway. They really need to use their #7 pick well, whether they keep it or trade it, to add a bit more depth to the squad. The way the squad is currently built, I'd be inclined to flip the pick for a solid vet pickup (i.e Iggy has been proposed for the Dubs). I certainly wouldn't be reaching a project type in the draft. If they're going to keep the pick, they need to get a guy who can contribute from day one.
But at least they're making moves in the right direction now and have made a concerted effort to build a balanced, competitive squad. They have a lot of good character guys in that team without a lot of egos. I think the chemistry will be strong and if they can stay healthy, but that's a big if.

Holy Smokes:
Bogut: 13mil Lee: 12.8mil Jefferson: 10mil
O_o yar, no cap space until 2014.

How on earth did they pawn off Jefferson with a 10 mill. contract? Was it to compensate for sending Kwame Brown to the Bucks?
GSW might make the playoffs next year if they get a solid SF in this years draft (or make a trade for their pick), surely (emphasis on might)?

Don't forget Biedrens. He's owed something like 9mill too =/

They didn't want SJax. They did get a last first round pick (for what it's worth) as well as RJ's ugly contract. RJ may be past it, but he's still a decent guy and will contribute (although not 10 mill's worth).

Actually, if advanced stats are right, Bogut/Lee/Biedrins is an imposing frontcourt. Powerful rebounding, good defense, efficient scoring. It may not be so bad. Jefferson, on the other hand, meh.
Brandon Rush and Stephen Curry are also rated pretty highly.
The tanking this season masks a bright future. I can see them almost making the playoffs.
P.S. They shoulda kept Jeremy Lin

Klay Thompson is pretty good and has loads of potential. Bogut and Lee aren't superstars but are very underrated. If everyone comes back healthy they'll have a decent team though I still don't think playoffs just yet. I don't see them fighting off any of the lower seeds in the West next year.

Anyone?
Orlando's chances of keeping Howard are pretty slim so even if Miami wanted they wouldn't have to give up both Wade and Bosh. People forget that Bosh averaged 24pts and 10 rebounds a game the season before he went to Miami. He doesn't have the same superstar appeal as Wade and Lebron obviously, but the guy is REALLY good. If Orlando got desperate to unload Dwight before next season's deadline, I wouldn't be surprised if they would take Bosh alone for Howard.

I really dont think you guys understand how much little Dwight Howard brings to the table for Miami compared to how much they'd lose.

Bosh is a good scorer, but Howard is a game changer on the glass at both ends and a defensive force.
In any fathomable trade scenario, the team getting Howard is getting the better end of the deal.

That'd be one crowded paint on offense if you had Lebron, Wade and D12 on the same team. You'd need either Lebron or Wade to become a sharpshooter at that point, which would make their greatest strengths to go to waste.

That's the downside. The upside is that you no longer have 3 dudes that want the ball in their hands all the time, just two. Not sure what situation is better. I think I'd rather have James, Bosh and Howard than any other combo of those 4.

I don't understand why on earth would anyone do that after a historic performance like that. I wouldn't do it to anyone, even tho i am a Heat fan4life. Just classless. I know all Celtics fans ain't liek that, but doing it to ANY person after that kind of a game...makes me angry. I hate sport fans like that. That guy should get fined and ban from the arena for sometime.
Anyway, i think that LeBron has a perfect chance to show the world, even tho he shouldn't care about that at all, that he can take Miami to the finals. Wade has to play like he did in the second half from the get go. Looking forward to the game already.

Wouldn't say Lee plays good defense. Any offensive efficiency from Biedrens is pretty well balanced put by his FT% and the fact that you can't play him at the end of quarters. Boguts is good. They might make the playoffs but this isn't a contending roster.

Pretty lame the fan dumped shit on Lebron, but Miami fans shouldn't really shit talk... At the end of Game 1, when the Heat were up pretty big (and it wasn't like.. a dirty game, or anything like that), Heat fans chanting "Boston sucks", pretty much the same deal, lol.
