I recently got into Astrology and just figured out how to do natal charts of people. And I wanted to apply this knowledge into things that i was interested in (mostly Starcraft and other strategy games). So, I looked up the astrological charts of strategists and generals to find if they all had something in common. I discovered that they all had their Sun or Moons in Taurus or Scorpio or at the very least had a Taurus/Scorpio influence in their chart. Most importantly all of the well-known chess masters were all Tauruses and Scorpios.

Chess Masters:
Bobby Fischer - Moon in Taurus,
Alexander Alekhine - Sun in Scorpio,
Jose Capablanca - Sun in Scorpio,
Mikhail Tal - Moon in Scorpio,
Wilhelm Steinitz - Sun in Taurus,
Seigbert Tarrasch - Moon in Taurus,
Tigran Petrosian - Moon in Scorpio,
Mikhail Chigorin - Sun in Scorpio,
Emmanuel Lasker - Moon in Taurus,
Aron Nimzowitsch - Sun in Scorpio,
Garry Kasparov - Mercury in Scorpio

Military Commanders:
Erwin Rommel - Sun in Scorpio, Moon in Taurus
George Patton - Sun in Scorpio
Bernard Montgomery - Sun in Scorpio
Ulysses Grant - Sun in Taurus
Robert Lee - Moon in Taurus
Duke of Wellington - Sun in Taurus
Helmuth von Moltke - Sun in Scorpio
Adolf Hitler - Sun in Taurus
Yi Sun-sin - Sun in Taurus

Starcraft Player:
Flash - Mars in Taurus
iloveoov - Sun in Scorpio
TLO - Mars in Taurus
SlayerS_`BoxeR` - Mars in Scorpio
NaDa - Sun in Scorpio
Bisu - Sun in Scorpio
IdrA - Mars in Taurus

Generally, in video games the planet Mars plays a more important role since it governs first impulses and instinct.

Conclusion: This is all very shallow research but it's still something to think about (the Taurus and his opposite Scorpio). I would like to know what your opinions and thoughts about this.

It is not conclusive as astrology is just made up crap. What time you are born in doesn't affect your personality, your abilities, your intelligence. More like coincidence.

Jesus. So you're saying that the position of inanimate objects (stars) has some magical connection to these people who are successful?

Also "Mars governs impulse and instinct"?????

No its not something to think about until you can label the majority of successful strategists as Scorps and Bulls. Then the coincidence might be something, but even then we all know correlation does not imply causation. Stats 101.

Astrology is complete hokum with not a shred of genuine evidence in its favour.

That's the beginning and end of my thoughts on the matter and I suspect almost everyone here agrees given the demographic.
