Huh, this is intresting. Thought Axslav atleast would be allowed to stay
|
oh shiz that is kinda surprising to me. Axslav at least did a very good job of reaching out to the community with his stream which was totally awesome. One of the few players that can cast and play while not getting destroyed.
Sad to hear.
btw does this mean they have to move out of the house asap?

Maybe we should wait until we have an official statement from EG.
|
Incontrol does more for the community than either of those two, how can you even compare? Where he lacks in results he picks up with doing things for the community. Im not a fan of his game, but hes a good person and does wonders.
Edit: This not taking away from his skill. He is very skilled. But as i said , just lacks the results.

yea maybe we should just wait before jumping to any conclusions

EG is stupid to release Axslav though...he's improved so goddamn much since practicing regularly in the house, such a waste if the let him go. I just hope that if he's not on EG any more he can continue playing full-time.
EDIT: I didn't read the OP...

im confused where is the official EG announcement
|
Axslav was cool, shoulda cut Inc instead.
|
Let's wait on this one guys, no need to jump to anything until EG says so.

If it is true, then I am not really surprised. EG recently closed their CS 1.6 team, but n0thing will remain within the organization to do some content stuff. With the recently pickup of JYP, I wouldn't be surprised if they chose to remove Axslav and Strifecro to meet their salary budget. Besides the money, they haven't done too much in terms of solo results. They are a good duo for 2v2 matches, but their results at several MLG's isn't the best. I am not trying to say that they suck, but in times of competition, money, etc on the line, you have to do what is best for the team. Besides that, I am surprise that lzgamer is still on the team since he is in the same boat as the two.

As far as I can see the only thing indicating their departure is that TwitchTV conversation, where all that's said is "yes, axslav and strifecro were released."

there isn't any article theres just a reddit post about a chat screenshot. EG hasn't even said anything and they would be the first to tell people when people get released.
|
No suprise here. They probably are keeping Inc for his personality and Lzgamer for his looks (he was advertising some stuff at mlg or something like that?)
|
EG is a business. I can understand them releasing Axslav and StrifeCro. I understand why they keep Incontrol. Keep Machine confuses me. Maybe he hasn't show his true potential in a tournament but is a complete beast during inhouse practice.
|
Empty speculation until they actually gets released...
|
EG released their Counter-Strike team a couple of days ago and HLTV reported that before EG confirmed it. It's probably true about them dropping these players. But if they do their NA team house makes no sense at all because they won't have anyone living there except for InControl. I wonder if they're bringing in players from other games as well to fill the house or if they're selling it as well.

We should wait for a statement from EG =/
Axslav and Strifecro fighting!
|
Yea, even if this is true, we should for the official word.
I'm a bit bothered that this winter guy from x6 is very vocal and very public about pursuing players before the official statement is done. I don't mind being very persistent about pursuing players before their contracts are up, but being public about it is another thing.

Oh dear. I am still going to wait until official confirmation but it does not seem too surprising to me. A pity though, to see a top foreign team gradually outsource itself to Korea.

It's where the results count and the best players train. Sad but true.
|
This makes me sad T.T, Axslav was starting to show some improvement. Let's hope both players find a new team if this is true.
|
Well if this is true...then time to pick up more Koreans so EG becomes a stronger team :D.
|
Pretty sure Axslav is playing practice games with Demuslim and Machine at the moment, which suggests that he's in the Lair, which suggests that he's still an EG member.

Just like every other American brand and franchise, just steal good things from others instead of trying to become good and hope the stupidity of the general public will keep supporting you so you make more money. This pretty much applies to almost all American companies and brands I've ever seen or heard of, very rarely will they make a good new innovation.

Why would they keep and pay players who don't produce results or are personalities in the scene. Incontrol isn't getting good results, but he's a personality. He's popular. He is a good talker and is a strong figurehead for EG. It's silly talk about outsourcing to Korea. EG is a bossiness and at the end of the day, they want to make money.
The best players are Koreans and the best way to train players is Korea. If the best players were in Australia and the best place to train was Australia, they would buy Australians. If EG wants to keep up with the best teams, which are Korean, they'll need Koreans if their whole team doesn't wanna go live in Korea.
With the addition of JYP, Axslav was redundant behind Huk/JYP/Incontrol. Strifeco is...well, yeah. They didn't produce results and weren't very popular when compared to the rest of the team.

No need for speculation if this is true just wait for the official statement.

its kinda silly that they still have a wow team but not their cs team anymore. I wonder if they are making space for their dota team.
