It doesn't really change anything for the teams so I have no problem with this and it makes sense for viewership.
However, I expect them to screw it up in some way for super week which, with teams playing multiple matches in 1 day, is the one time where the order actually matters.

I highly doubt that mata will retire. The person in question, that might retire if white doesn´t play a good summer/worlds, is Dandy. He is the oldest on the current rooster and therefor might already consider his options after his pro gaming carreer. Mata, Imp, Pawn and Looper are way too young to retire.

Iirc there was a picture posted where mata had a sign above his computer which said "worlds or retirement" or something along those lines.

Also I forgot that NiP is playing in the Hitbox tournament today, so that's probably why they were playing with POE when I checked, so the dream is real.

Rumours are that White has internal issues, not Blue.
Ofc everything is possible, but another rumor is that White are going to be rebuilt if they fail to achieve huge result at Worlds.
Knowing imp and DanDy characters, it's not something to be surprised of.
But ofc everything is possible. even though, Homme won Champions being 29 :D
