That's my guess anyways. That's something that deserves this sort of hype. Leta was at the GOM house checking out SC2. Tweeted by... gulp... QXC. BW Pro contracts end this month I believe (or at least, soon) Possible Leta/Puma connection?
This was explained in a blog a whole day ago by DoA himself (who was with Moletrap, QXC and Oz at the gom house with leta)
Leta is a good friend of Oz, and because Oz was at the gom house Leta came over. He played a couple SC2 games, went two port banshee. That's all.

Announcement is about EG planning to win a tournament in near future, it's their new strategy.

I say EGHuK incoming And I remembered watching the end of that game. At the time HuK's reaction to the loss seemed really strange to me... strange enough to stick in my head. He didn't lose that much by getting beaten and a new addition to the TL roster had just had a great win. Yet he was almost crying and had his head down for a long time. Compared with HuK's usual aloofness, it just struck me as weird. This could be a very good reason for that reaction, him losing to Sheth is kind of like "you made the wrong choice". Anyway this is all speculations and just another spin on things. I really hope i'm wrong, because I really feel like it would be a terrible decision for HuK if he were to move to EG. Although unless HuK / TL make a statement soon saying he isn't moving then it's pretty much confirmed. There wouldn't be any reason not to squash the rumour, since they have no vested interest in EG. that los meant he wasnt going to blizzcon.

No. There is no way that Nazgul would sell TL. It took only 3 minutes for TL staff do deny that TL was being sold... if HuK weren't going to EG it would have definitely been denied by now... unless this is all an elaborate scheme by Hotbid...

Woahhh. Pretty interesting.

This homepage with the text in the background, the latin mp3 filename, the source code datamining and shit seems really complicated lol, this is on par with the TSL1 hype homepage with the stars and shit from years back, everyone was going crazy about that lol.
Anyway props to EG for creating insane interest in this, it's gonna be interesting to see what it turns out to be. I wouldn't mind Huk going to EG but I don't really see why he'd do it, he doesn't seem to lack money, and the practise partners he has in the OGSTL house is undoubtedly better than being alone/just with PuMa. That said I suppose if EG offered him some insane salary I'd say good for him if he takes it.
That said, here's to hoping it's EG signing a bw pro :D EG.Leta or EG.Bisu?
LOL, rekrul trolling us

On August 15 2011 16:42 Quotidian wrote: Hope it's not true. Honestly I don't see what the appeal would be for Huk (not knowing how much EG would theoretically pay him of course). EG's seems to be an inferior team in every way, except that they've managed to somehow make money and retain sponsors even though none of their players are posting ANY results. Some of their players even seem to be consistently getting worse - how would that be of interest to someone who should have pretty high standards regarding practice partners by now, is making ok money from actual tournament wins and who is as competitive as Huk is..?
I know that football (soccer) and Esports operate on vastly different planes, but there are so many cases which offer a precedence in this regard. I'd also reference the NFL, NBA etc. Very good players have joined crummy/middling teams to make a bucket of money that they weren't going to get anywhere else. Look at Manchester City, they've bought so many of the world's top talents despite the fact that until this season they weren't even in the Champions' League. There are too many examples in American sport to count, but I can tell you one obvious one. Jason Werth left the top of the MLB Phillies to join the basement dwelling Washington Nationals in order to make the big bucks which weren't being offered to him at Philly.
Now, I've got to tell you where I stand on this sort of thing. I don't think there's too much wrong with it. Some people will look at these sorts of players and call them mercenaries or traitors (Judas), but imagine if you offered those same haters a new job with a greater income than they're receiving now. Of course they'd take the new job with the greater income in 75%+ cases. Also, athletes (E-Athletes too) are on a clock and they know it. They don't know when their careers will end, they have to make the most of it before it's too late. This is especially true for an Esport where you don't know what sort of life the game is going to have (though evidence would suggest SC2 is going to be around for a long time). A lot of them (more so in NFL, football etc) don't have much to hang their hats on outside of their physical prowess and so the money they make during their sporting careers is going to have to sustain them for most of their life. Especially when you consider that a lot of them retire with very badly beaten and broken bodies that will give them pain for the rest of their lives.
Is this going to be the case with 'Huk? Some people know, but they're not telling. People can speculate about what it would mean if he did switch, but they don't know the full story. IF (a the big IF) 'Huk did switch, how do you know that he wouldn't be able to stay with oGs still? He's on great terms with the team and it'd be completely within the realms of possibility that that there would still be a seat for him in their practice room.
I'm not trying to make a case for 'Huk to leave, I'm only trying to explain that people should try to see things from the player's perspective when it comes to money and their careers. Personally, I would love to see 'Huk stay on with TL (if this is even what this hype is leading to, we don't know so it could be 100% something else) because he's a great fit in the team and the team is a great fit for him. Not to mention they've strengthened remarkably over the last month with two AAA signings. However, if he was to switch, I wouldn't hold it against him. 'Huk is his own man and he's got to do right by himself first and foremost. I'd still be a massive fan if he made the switch.
Sorry if that was a little long winded.
